   Delicious food, well balanced interesting menu, friendly attentive staff, cosy welcoming ambience. Perfect to celebrate a birthday - the evening was topped by a complementary candlelit dessert.

   A charming experience in Salut! for their Sunday roast. A small, chique restaurant that offers a concise and elegant menu. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I loved walking in to the cooking aromas of the open kitchen. A lovely array of starters (wishing that I could try them all), followed by an exquisite pork belly roast. The gravy/red wine jus was a highlight, with the duck-fat potatoes and the tenderness of the pork. Pork crackling would be a nice addition, with perhaps some sort of apple-sauce accompaniment. But all-in-all, the flavours bonded together so nicely. The orange cheesecake dessert had all the right balance of flavour and texture. Zesty orange, slight crunch of the almonds and creamy cheesecake.

   “I went to this restaurant with high expectations after reading the reviews on the website, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. One of the starters, the leek, appeared to be submerged in water, which made it tasteless. The venison was of very poor quality, and the vegetables cooked with it lacked flavor, tasting only of water. The meat, paired with the sauce, was overly sweet and overpowering. To top it off, I was served an old bottle of wine that hadn’t been filtered properly, resulting in grape sediment in my glass. When I pointed it out, only one glass was removed from the bill instead of both. Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant experience.”

   We had a fantastic time. I booked to celebrate a friend's birthday and I was initially nervous because she doesn't eat a wide array of food, but it all went incredibly well. She had the sirloin and it was so soft, it was a success. She even loved the salad that we served with it. I had the cod as a main which was perfectly cooked. All in all every guest was so pleased with the food. Service was attentive and not intrusive. The ambiance and atmosphere are relaxed. I really think this place is a gem.

   Went for a Sunday lunch and it was totally delicious, one of the best I have had in a long time. I would highly recommend this restaurant

    We had an amazing evening with friends celebrating my wife's 50th birthday. The food was tremendous beautifully cooked with amazing flavours I particularly liked the venison. We had some great wines and cheeses. The service all night was exceptional. Thank you
