Our philosophy is personal, friendly service with creative food and drink. Which says a lot about the team working in our restaurant. With a fantastic blend of experience and fresh talent, we have gathered together a passionate, curious and hard-working collective who love the fact they are helping to shape this new offering. We focus on simplicity and pristine ingredients, believing that if we do the hard work up-front by carefully choosing our suppliers and ingredients and work with the seasons, the dishes will create themselves.

Our menu highlights include local fish from Dungeness Fish Hut and Grigg"s of Hythe, local Highland cattle, and Salt Marsh lamb, rare-breed pork and Kentish chickens. Our food lives and dies by the quality of the ingredients - we love showcasing vegetables at their seasonal peak, introducing forgotten cuts and exploring classic combinations with an unusual twist.

Truly delicious food. The service was good except waiting 20 minutes for a drink on arrival but it was very busy when we arrived. Pecan pie with sherry on the side to die for.

The waiting staff were discretely attentive, everything on the plate was explained on ordering . The cocktails excellent, great flavours. The whole four courses delicious; especially the cod and lamb mains. The dessert..... so light and tasty.

As previously our visit to Saltwood on the Green was a very pleasant experience. My wife and I enjoyed our visit celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our food choices.

Lovely lunch, we had 3 courses and each one was just perfect, well prepared, well presented, reasonable portion size and very scummy, couldn't fault.

Great evening first visit to Saltwood on the Green recommended by a friend. Restaurant looked great lovely decor, great food and excellent service . Will definitely visit again and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Looking forward to visiting again

Great quality food but choice of menu a bit limited. Pumpkin bread with chorizo jam fantastic and Ox cheek main course mouthwatering and full of flavour. Nice cocktails made with hand crafted syrups. Good range of wines. Excellent local venue for an intimate evening. Worth a visit!

We really enjoyed our lunch - the food was exceptional and the service faultless. The restaurant is set in a great location and the menu had a lot of choice. We will definitely be going back!!!!
