The Salt Kitchen & Bar located inside of Hotel LBI offers coastal-casual dining, featuring a bright open dining room with spectacular views of the Barnegat Bay. The dinner menu consists of local seafood, steaks, and chops.
*Reservations are highly recommended.
*Our phone lines are often busy during dinner service, however questions regarding dining may be answered after 3:00pm at 609-991-8001.
*10 max party size. *We do not accommodate split parties.
*Outside seating, in season, is available first come first serve with a reservation & non reservable.

My friend and I had a great experience we should for my birthday weekend which was also Easter weekend. The hotel having a Easter brunch menu was a great touch. Hotel LBI is always our go to for a staycation. Rooms are always so clean and gives you that apartment/ suite experience. Love the pool and that they have a onsite restaurant and gym. 10/10

The entire staff was wonderful and the food was great! The hostess was very kind to move our table initially so that my son (who is autistic) could look out the window. It brought him great comfort. ❤️

Service was outstanding as always, food was great however $70 steak was sent back because it was undercooked. But overall the restaurant is well run, this was the first time we had an issue with food. We enjoy dining there

We finally made it to dinner at Salt. It was very quiet when we were there- only a few other tables seated. The food was delicious and the service was great! We had the crab cake appetizer, filet mignon & pork tenderloin- all were excellent. The cocktails were also delicious. I gave a lower mark for value only because it is expensive, but the quality of the food is definitely top tier. Glad we got there before the summer rush!

It was wonderful service, food was great, very pretty facilities. The only down side was the acoustics, it was very loud. Will be back again though!

We’ve dined here many times and especially enjoy the porch. Sitting inside is usually very noisy when they’re busy. Fortunately, mid March is not a busy time for LB I and there were only about 6 tables of diners. We enjoyed our perfectly prepared entrees.: filet and halibut. Only glitch was it was my bday and my husband had asked for them to bring me special dessert. Somehow it didn’t get communicated to our server and I didn’t order dessert which was fine because I was so full!

We love hotel LBI and dined at Salt Kitchen many times in the past. The food here is always very good. We miss the short rib parapedelle that used to be on the menu, it was our favorite dish. The service this time around was particularly slow, really only for our table. It seemed like other tables coming in after us were getting their food quicker and check quicker than we were. Overall we enjoy the food here and will come back.
