   This really is a speakeasy... you literally have to know about it and then get permission from the bar staff to get through the false wall. Once in, the room is cosy and the cocktails great. We had great service and really enjoyed the drinks. We will definitely be back!

   Super cool place, however, they are a bit misleading with advertising it as a speakeasy. I was expecting a really cool experience where you have to call the bartender using a candlestick phone to have access to the hidden bar. I was expecting this, as that is how it was explained online. When we got there... the people behind the bar looked at me like I was crazy for letting them know about our reservation in the "speakeasy". They seemed to be very confused and going back and forth on what to do with us. ( who knows, maybe we weren't approved to hang in the alleged speakeasy) The manager ( I am assuming) then came to me and explained that the room is only used for private events. He took me upstairs to see it and mentioned that if we wanted to hangout up there we could, but we didn't as that would be really awkward being in an empty room with 2 other friends. We hung out in the bar area and a few drinks and snacks and had a really good time. If I wasn't expecting the speakeasy experience everything would have been great! Maybe they shouldn't accept reservations if that room isn't even available? Again, bar was really nice and I would go again. They just need to change how they advertise the "speakeasy"

   The restaurant never received our table booking for the speakeasy, when we arrived it was completely empty and they were packing up to close. One bartender we convinced to stay to serve us but they ended up closing at 11, when the table we booked was for 10:30.

   Delicious cocktails and great service. The only downside was that we were the only ones in the bar!! We also did not eat at Salotto - we went downstairs to The Italian Job and had a tasty meal.
