For authentic Thai cuisine in the Washington, D.C. area, take a trip to Sala Thai at U Street. With a history that goes back to 1987, Sala Thai was the very first Thai restaurant to operate in the Dupont Circle neighborhood.
Since the very beginning, Sala Thai specialized in the spiciest cuisine to come out of Southeast Asia, so if you like your food to have a bit of a kick, this is the restaurant for you. The menu includes smoked salmon, octopus salad, shrimp tempura rolls, two different types of spicy crunchy rolls, a sushi sashimi set and daily specials.
