   Thoroughly enjoyed the food; the small plates and starters were all excellent. Had less luck with the service and the wine. :-( The ambiance was pretty noisy, tho' that was largely due to a couple of raucous large parties and no fault of the restaurant.

   We had a terrific experience. We are "locals" & knew that the establishment was under new ownership. We met 2 of the new gentlemen owners personally & they couldn't have been more accommodating. Brian, our waiter was great & the food was delicious. The pork shoulder on grits & the flatbread pizza were wonderful. We can't wait to return & return....

   The soup was served without a soup spoon but was unique with an oyster base. The main entrees with gnocchi were served in bowls making it difficult to distinguish what was gnocchi and what was the meat or fish. Only one boring choice for dessert. Prices are okay for Provincetown. Average overall rating. However this was the opening weekend so maybe it will improve.

   Had cocktails here with friends months ago - Well made drinks!! Finally returned to try out the dinner menu. Service was excellent. Menu was interesting. Dishes were all terrific. Definitely coming back again!!

   Sage is a wise choice... Despite an impending change of ownership, the terrific cheerful staff loyally rallies on in this 10+ table tapa-style bistro. The tastings are delightful. A specially creamy rich seafood chowder, knuckles of lobster salad on brioche, brisket beef sliders and a unique tempura cheese drumstick of broccolini! were all terrific. As were the bartender's superb crafted drinks! Not too expensive and it's a hotel too if you want to make a night of it. (Also private dining, catering and an entertainment venue (lounge) in the rear). Keenly decorated with Gilligan Island facial Warhol-esque vividly colored portraits in by a PTown local artist the current owner favors. Sage will be "re-discovered" when the the Ptown season starts in May!
