   My friends and I ate at Saffron tonight for the first time. We live in Palm Springs and will definitely be back. The food was delicious and service excellent. Both the manager and one of the owners stopped by to ask how things were. We were impressed by their engaging manner and felt strongly that they were genuinely interested in hearing what we had to say, both about the restaurant and the overall business environment in Palm Springs. We are all concerned about the potential loss of our Canadian friends and visitors who might decide that the United States is no longer a place they feel safe coming back to as long as the present Washington administration is in power. We had the Salad Shiraz (diced cucumber, tomato, red onion, herbs, and I think lemon; very refreshing and unusual), the Mini Kabobs (kabob meat wrapped in pita), Salmon Kabobs, Grilled Shrimp with Tomato & Poblano, both served with Saffron Rice and Yogurt Sauce. We would like to have had dessert, but there were limited options so we passed. (If we had one disappointment it was the limited desserts.) Nonetheless, we had a lovely meal. We had a 6:30PM reservation, so began our meal before the dining room began to fill up. Once it did, it made conversation more difficult, but we continued to talk above the noise for a leisurely time, never feeling rushed by the staff. We look forward to making Saffron one of the restaurants that will be in our frequent rotation.

   This was our first time and it was wonderful from the watermelon margarita to the pistachio cheesecake. We had wonderful service with our waiter Drew who helped us with our entree choices. We will definitely be back!

   Great experience at Saffron last night. The food was tasty and plentiful, the staff was engaging and the ambiance was great. Our vegetarian diners were as pleased as our carnivores.

   Hostess was very sweet, but we were seated next to the kitchen even though there were lots of empty tables and many open reservations when I made mine the day before. Our server was very sweet, explained the dishes thoroughly. The food came out very quickly and was luke warm. The rice was dry, the dishes bland. The standout was dessert, absolutely loved the pistachio cheesecake. Overall, a bit disappointing.

   Really a great place ! Very comfortable atmosphere. Food was excellent, something different than all the rest… excellent value, nice portions on appetizers really enough to share between people and very good service. I sincerely hope they do very well. All within a Very comfortable atmosphere, good music and at the right decibel, this goes a long way. Definitely check it out.
