   We had appetizer Cauliflower 65 spices. It was delicious. Vegetable Chettinad was very good, chicken would have been a better choice. chicken Vindaloo was excellent.

   First time at this restaurant. Everything we tried was so flavorful. Our mouths were happy. The Mango Lassi was a great start, along with Samosa Chaat and Shrimp 65. This was followed by Mango Chicken and Malabar Fish Curry, and an order of Butter Naan to savor every last drop of the sauces. Service was excellent. Our only complaint was the parking situation. Evidently there is no longer access to the nearby parking garage. This could be a deal breaker for future visits to the Raleigh location. Luckily there are other locations we can try.

   Took my mom and sisters here for a late Mother’s Day dinner. We brought my baby nephew and they staff was able to accommodate with a high chair and kids menu. They were very kind and the food was good. I appreciate being able to set the spice level. I did want to order aloo gobi but with masala sauce. They were able to provide the sauce in the side!

   So happy we found this restaurant. We had been searching for a good Indian restaurant in the area for the last three years. Saffron did not disappoint! The food was delicious and seasoned just right. There was no need to ask about spice levels which I appreciated. I enjoy heat but it’s hard to gauge when a restaurant asks you about the level you’re comfortable with for your meal. Sometimes it’s too light sometimes too much. But everything at Saffron was done to perfection. We will absolutely return.

    I had a 6:15 reservation for dinner on Valentine's Day and arrived at 6:05. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my girlfriend was going to be 20-30 minutes late. The place was filling up at this time with some folks waiting for a table. I thought for sure that I would have to give up my table and get in line, however when I explained the situation, my waiter assured me it was no problem. I felt bad to just be sitting there so I ordered a glass of wine and a salad. When my girlfriend arrived, our waiter came right over and took our order. The food was absolutely delicious as was the wine. We weren't rushed and they even gave us a complimentary Valentine Day desert to share. We will most definitely go back as the entire experience was quite enjoyable.
