   This restaurant is always fantastic! I have been for special occassions, with girlfriends and with family the food never disappoints. It is always clean, fresh an d flavourful. The owners and amazing and inviting, you can tell they truly love the restaurant, the customers and the food. Great quality:)

   The decor, lighting and staff made me feel like I had stepped into one of my favorite restaurants in Latin America. It is even better if you speak Spanish. The food was prepared/cooked to allow you taste of all the ingredients to savor. The mojitos were perfect, fresh mint and lime without excessive sugar. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. If you can't get to somewhere in Latin America, take a trip to Sabroso!

   My husband and I really enjoyed our first visit but this time were disappointed. We decided to share three appetizers to start to see how they were. We had the calamari, cerviche and arguegga (didn't spell that right but only one on menu) The only one we liked was the calamari. The cerviche meat was quite tough and the arguegga dough was very bad. We had to take the meat off to eat it. Arbrozza also used to serve yam chips (like taco chips) with the appetizers so you could scoop up food but now serve yam fries and everything comes with yam fries. So unfortunately the presentation suffered as well as we got tired of all the fries. Unfortunately we would not go back.

   We decided to give Sabroso a try because of the good reviews, and I'm glad we did. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous. We tried the fish, lamb and paella and they were all delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive (however maybe it's because we were the only ones in the restaurant at this early hour). Overall, I would recommend Sabroso for good food at reasonable prices.

   We had a great lunch, the food was really good and so was the service. Alejandro, one of the owners, was very nice and took care of us the whole time. I can't wait to go one Friday or Saturday night to listen to life music and dance!!

   Este restaurante es uno de mis favoritos en la ciudad. Lo encarecidamente para cualquier persona que disfruta de la comida latinoamerica. El propietario es un hombre maravilloso, muy amable, y el personal es excelente. Me gustaria llevar a nadie a este restaurante sabiendo que van a tener una experiencia maravillosa. Pruebe el vino "rioja". Va con toda la comida que sirven.... [En Ingles] This is one of my favourite restaurants in the city. The owner is a wonderful man, very friendly, and the staff are excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Latin American food. And I would be happy to take anyone to this restaurant for business or pleasure, knowing they will have an excellent experience. Try the Rioja wine, it goes with almost anything on the menu...

   I booked a table at Sabroso with my girlfriend on Valentines Day. I realised later they had a 'special' meal that night but decided to give it a go anyway. The management had obviously decided to make a big effort and the place was decorated with hearts and cherubs and every couple was given a rose on arrival. They had packed in as many 2-person tables as was physically possible - we were in the middle of the floor. There was a $60 dollar set meal which included 4 courses and a glass of sangria. The value for the price was OK in terms of quantity, but the quality was disappointing. The food was barely warm and was quite bland. I haven't been to Sabroso before, but I got the feeling the kitchen would typically do better if they weren't so rushed. The service was also rushed and lacking in attention. We were forgotten for a while and had to repeat the order several times. Overall, I think the experience was spoiled by the restaurant trying to get too much from the night. With a few less customers and more attention to quality it could have been a good evening.

   This gem's take on upscale Latin American food is tasty and satisfying, and cheerful and attentive owner Alejandro is ever-present to ensure a top-quality experience. You won't go wrong booking here. This particular night (Valentine's Day) featured a set menu, which helped ensure very efficient service despite the restaurant being packed all night. There was live music that was just the right volume (i.e., unobtrusive but audible), and it was so good I was a little surprised when I realized it was live. Our server was a little green, but she was pleasant and competent, and, as mentioned, with Alejandro never far away, that quality of the service left nothing to want for.

    The restaurant did not advertise a set menu for Valentine's day. Furthermore only one meal price was available. The meal selections did not depict the Latin American food the restaurant is named for. I would not recommend this restaurant for a special occasion like Valentines Day.
