   I have gone numerous times, but having some tasteful live music and a wine tasting offer was nice.

   We have been going here for the last few years for our anniversary. Each year, they recognize our anniversary with us by giving us the same table, and some extra goodies. The staff are always cheerful and seem to always be at the table when we need them, and give us space when we want it. Food is always amazing. Drinks are never empty. Truly appreciate all parts of this place. Look forward to continuing to celebrate our milestones here.

   The service was great and food was served in a timely fashion. The food was in my opinion very basic and expensive for the size of the portions.

   Our orders for lunch (2 of us did not arrive to our table correctly). The server brought my meal and then as it was placed on the table she picked up immediately and said "oh they didn't make it how you ordered it" I will be right back. Then my lunch partner order steak "rare" and received it med-well done. Not good. Could not get a server to come address his over cooked steak for a LONG time. My order finally came back to the table and then we were able to notify the much over cooked steak. Took a long time for the rare steak to come to the table - I have finished my meal by that time. Ugh. So food was poor and service was poor and very slow and unattentive. Which was surprising as the restaurant was empty with very few partrons.

   Servers were too busy to chat with each other and didn’t have time serve us. Had to wait 10min for the server to notice that we were ready to place order. Waited quite long to get our food and the truffle fries we ordered were not crispy anymore. Truffle fries were also disappointing. I asked the server and was told that the truffle flavour was in the aioli(but to be honest, couldn’t tell at all). We told our server that we had 2 vouchers from the dine out event and would like to use them. Clearly it was printed “one per customer” but she told us that she could only apply one voucher to one order.

   I will finish positive! Requested a romantic table for 2 using Open Table. We were seated in a booth big enough for 6 in the busiest / noisiest part of the restaurant. We asked for a quieter table as requested, they happily obliged. Food: my date called the crab cakes, mashed potato cakes, no crab flavour what so ever. Had the top sirloin steak for my entree, not the best cut I admit, but I’m on a budget. I chose not to have one of there extra cost sauces, but at a minimum, a steak should be well seasoned with salt and some pepper, not a hint of salt or pepper seasoning at all. Most bland steak I have ever eaten. Sorry JRG, the menu looks good but the food is flavourless! Big miss especially when you’re charging those prices! The good: Live music, hard to find these days, thumbs up! Best blood orange old fashion, loved it, so did my date! Service was great, they act as a team, if our server was busy, one of the other staff was around to happily assist us. Good working culture! The ambience is good as well, but if you are looking to converse with your date or group, insist on being seated as far away from the bar /TV area as possible.

   We were seated immediately upon arrival. Waitress attended to us very quickly and explained the menu and took our drink orders. We received a complimentary appetizer of crab cakes which was great and they were delicious. Our appetizers were delivered and we were checked on by our waitress as well as manager to make sure all was good. We ordered lobster chowder and pot stickers which were amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant
