Whenever possible, the Rustica kitchen staff utilizes items that are locally grown or made to create unique and flavorful dishes. Rustica features dishes that have been inspired from countries across Europe such as Spain, Italy and France among many others.Rustica's entrées are divided between two sections: the first features pasta and grain dishes while the second is more traditional dinner plates. Under the pasta section Rustica serves up house-made ricotta gnocchi with asparagus, onion petal, pea purée and chevre as well as a seafood spaghetti with shrimp, mussels, scallops, peas and spicy crumbs in a white clam sauce. Larger plates include grilled hangar steak, New Zealand lamb shank and Otto's chicken pot pie with English peas, leek, potatoes and carrots in a creamy tomato broth.
