    The service was absolutely atrocious. We ordered vodka flights, and when the waiter brought them, he wasn’t even sure which was which flavor. It was over two hours before we were served our entrées. The dining room wasn’t even that full. he forgot one of the entrées altogether when we got the check they had overcharged us by over $100. It’s too bad because the food was good but can’t justify going back based on the service.

    The afternoon tea was delicious and surprisingly filling. The dining room is beautiful and quiet. I look forward to a return visit.

    RTR was out of rye whiskey for the Manhattan I ordered. At a restaurant of this caliber, this was not acceptable. Otherwise, and overall, the experience was superior and worth the price.

    Our waiter was fantastic - top notch service. The food was sub-par and wildly overpriced. We had a 10:15p Rez after seeing a show and the host kept trying to call me during the show, I guess to tell me to come in earlier. When we got there (we were the only ones there), 10min early, he was basically berating us for not answering the call and coming in earlier so they could close earlier- really obnoxious. They’ve got to know that we were likely in a theater (it’s in that district), and why make reservations after 10p available if you want to close. Not at all worth the money. Our waiter was really great though - hope he gets a job at a better spot, he deserves better.

    Still stunning after all these years. The service and food were top notch although my friend ordered High Twa which was $145 per person. Crazily overpriced for what you received. Yet it was fabulous to revisit this classic gem.

    I was expecting a 5 Star experience! Our waters were never filled. We did the Royal tea and ran out of tea. Sandwiches dry. Cupcakes dry. What a bummer.
