Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.

Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

Our favorite! Have been coming to Rumi’s since it was in at the old location down the street. So glad the warm dolmeh are back on the menu. The sea bass melts in your mouth. Took my husband to try the gormeh Sabzi, it’s so flavorful and nutrient dense. If we get lucky the tahdig is always a special treat! I think about the cardamom ice cream 🍦 all the time 😋

I enjoyed myself as well as my family. We had the lamb, chicken, filet mignon kebabs. The food was so delicious, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely return to this restaurant in the future.

For as many years as we’ve been going to this location, the food and experience is consistently outstanding. Looking forward to visiting again after the remodel is complete.

Great atmosphere, too loud where you can’t hear your party when speaking. Server had no personality at all. After informing her that it was our first visit she didn’t try to explain how the flow of the meal was done.

Except that we waited for almost 30 mins to get our table even after making reservations was very disappointing. But overall it was a great experience. They are of course way better than the Alpharetta Avalon Rumis. With their service and the way they welcome guests.

Rumi’s is my favorite restaurant in Georgia. The Sandy Springs location is near my house, so I visit it more often. I love the professionalism, the kindness, the expertise and dedication of the staff. I give them 5 stars.
