   Had dinner there in January. Setting was lovely with music in background. Food and service was very good. Looking to going back in fall.

   Great dinner. I enjoyed the live entertainment that was an appropriate noise level. It’s probably a quiet atmosphere without the entertainment. Very nice evening!

   I restrict my intake of meats so it is a special occasion when I have a piece of steak and more often than not I am underwhelmed. The Filet I had at Rudolph's more than met my best hope for a quality cut and preparation. Service was top notch and the ambiance was excellent to support a quality evening with friends. We ordered a reasonably priced Tuscan wine and were not disappoint there either. The other three members of my party were please as well on all aspects of the evening.

   Went on a Friday night at 8pm. Too long of wait for the waiter to show up. After he took drink order it was a very long wait again. After He came back to take dinner order we never saw him again. We did not have a waiter for the entire two hours there and we had to flag people down to get a drink and some bread and eventually the check. Steaks were waaayyy undercooked, literally bloody on orders of medium and medium well. Sent back and they came back a little better, but still very undercooked. Would not recommend this place or at least not on a Friday. Prices are over the top expensive for the quality of food.

   Steaks were mediocre, on the dry side. No one clearing tables, waiter handling too many tables and despite running around, would disappear for extended periods of time. The result was the worst service I have experienced in many years. On a positive note, they had a piano player/singer and a sax player that were excellent. Not enough to bring me back however.

   Good food, great service but a drunken patron shouted vulgarities full blast for a half hour in upstairs dining room. Owner should have addressed this but did not. Lovely experience was almost ruined.

   A gorgeous, romantic venue featuring stone walls, exposed brick, and crystal chandeliers. Just as noteworthy is the menu. The pomegranate martini was yummy, super-size shrimp cocktail was perfection. The filet mignon was served on a fluffy bed of mashed potato and surrounded by seasonal vegetables. It is hard to find a consistently good restaurant in the Mendham area. This is one of the best.

   3rd visit to Rudolph's (all three times dining in the upstairs Bar / Tavern ... outstanding. Look's like this will be our go to spot for local dining!

    Second visit. The room and music are wonderful. The Service was inattentive and disappointing. Food is always great. Special place.
