   We had a wonderful lunch in the tented outdoor area. To begin, we both had a Bloody Mary, and they were sooo good! We split the wedge salad and it was very good. For entrees, I had the Rigatoni alla vodka with chicken, and my husband had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Both were delicious. Beneto was our server and he took great care of us. Overall A+!

   This restaurant was disappointing. It is unfortunately another example of restaurants in this neighborhood that are focused on volume, not quality. The pasta was overcooked, the bread flavorless, and the salad generous but very plain. It was also very loud. The service was the only bright spot. I was seated and served quickly and did not wait an unreasonable amount of time for anything. The servers were efficient and friendly.

   Jamie was our waiter. Phenomenal job! Made some excellent recommendations including the burrata salad was wonderful, the wine was exquisite, and the main entrees melted in our mouths. There’s a reason we come to Rosebud on Rush every time we come to Chicago! Always a great experience!!

   Always a wonderful meal! I’ve been coming to Rosebud on Rush since 1987. Our family from NJ are in town for my niece’s wedding this weekend and brought them here and they loved it! We get the window seat on the 2nd floor overlooking Rush St.

   The very generous portions are perfect for a party of two whose common tastes support sharing of food. Good variety, great taste, and very helpful staff.

    Our dinner experience was phenomenal - with the most exceptional part of the evening being Angela, who looked after us to the point of serving food to our plates table-side (to her insistence). We had yet another fantastic meal (Short Rib + Polenta & Cavatelli al Forno) & Angela did her part to make us feel like family. Seriously good Italian home cooking, top tier midwestern hospitality, and an impressive menu (in a neighborhood full of tourist traps) - this is why Rosebud on Rush stays an institution. 11/10 - 6 stars - tell your friends!
