   LOVED the food and the service!! The chairs at the tables near the bar though are very uncomfortable

   Rosebud is a beautifully designed space offering a wide variety of food and an extensive beer list. The atmosphere is festive and cozy and the same time. The food was excellent. The bar space was also well designed and would be a fun place to hang out for drinks.

   Menu is eclectic, and generally quite tasty and out of the ordinary. Love the booth seating and that they have kept the historic diner intact and preserved the ambiance in certain sections. Staff always friendly and service was outstanding as we needed to make it quick to make a film nearby. Often bring out of town guests here for something different.

   Staff that served us very robotic; impersonal. Wouldn't seat us because we were early. Sent us to the bar then never came to get us. Never felt welcomed or appreciated as a paying guest.

   Had an excellent brunch while visiting our son in Somerville. Classic diner look on the outside but much larger when you walk inside. Service was great and French toast was delicious. Highly recommend trying the donuts.

   We had a great time at Rosebud's. Made a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes within the scheduled time (a one hour wait for a table without a reservation). The food was awesome; chicken and waffles, mushroom and gruyere omelet, brisket benedict and the drinks truly notable. Four of us for Sunday brunch, great vibe, easy and relaxed.

   I've had good experiences at Rosebud, but several things were off today. The waitstaff then removed it without comment. My friend is gluten free, but there were no options for her to eat and the waitstaff seemed unwilling to assist or facilitate any menu alterations. She ended up eating a burger on a few leaves of salad, which made her ill for several hours after. My friend also asked for a side of bacon, it arrived burned. The kitchen staff who delivered it said, "This is fine, right?" The bacon was nearly inedible. She was also brought the wrong drink. My french toast was just ok--huge blackberries in a watery, thin sauce. I don't think I'll be back unless I have a very large group looking to eat brunch.

    Server ignored us for 15 minutes before taking our drink orders. The Moroccan stew was really bland and too expensive for what it's worth.
