WAY BELOW PAR.... On Open Table the restaurant reads "Rosaria's Italian Kitchen Restaurant" but the name on the actual building is "Rosaria's Italian & Pizza" which definitely describes it better in terms of the ambiance. Inside is very much a "pizza shop" vs a fine dine experience and the food was horrible!! We live in Alpharetta but chose this restaurant because it was close to where our son lives. He graduated from KSU that morning. We went to First Watch for brunch and then booked this restaurant for his graduation dinner. I went to Open Table to look for restaurants near KSU and saw Rosaria's Italian Kitchen Restaurant. I looked at all the nice photos that were posted, I noticed none of them showed the interior but I regretfully ignored that. We ordered drinks, Maker's Mark Old Fashion for my husband which didn't taste like Maker's Mark Old Fashion at all. The calamari was pitiful looking (large round rings) and rubbery, the soup was cold and tasteless, the chicken wings were embarrassing (dry and white looking). We already had put in our dinner order but once we saw the appetizers (which was now on the table along with drinks), we told the waitress to cancel the dinner. We asked for the check, paid the bill ($85 + tip... we knew it wasn't the waitress fault) and left with the drinks and apps untouched. We ended up going to Crispina. The ambiance was more of what we were looking for as well as the quality and taste of the food. Thankfully my son's graduation dinner was salvaged and ended as a great evening.

Service moved at a glacial speed, even though they were only at about 1/3 capacity. We walked in with children, but were seated with adult menus. Server said she did not know if they had children’s menus, went to check and did not come back. (We snagged the hostess later and she brought us some.). Took them 15-20 minutes to open a bottle of wine and bring it over. Some food was hot, other food was COLD. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was DROWNING in the cheese sauce, like it was a soup with noddles and chicken in it - disgusting. The red sauce was wholly unremarkable, probably came straight out of a can. My son ordered a burger but they said (after 45 minutes) that they had run out of buns. ONLY plus: apparently the burger was good even without the bun! Sad that a burger is the best thing about an Italian restaurant. I cannot imagine how they will survive.

We have been here several times. This was our Anniversary. If it had been the first time it would have been the last. My husband food was cold. They tried to heat it up and it was still cold. I had finished eating so we took his home. Should the cooks be wearing masks?

Nice place. Out of the way. Easy to miss if you don’t know where it is. Not fond of 20% auto charged gratuity. Leave that decision to me. I’ll typically leave a bit more.

I was concerned about the social distancing. There wasn't alot of social distancing in the space and not alot of covid protocol.

If you are having a bad day, you check on your patrons. If you can't cook pasta, get out of the kitchen - 16 years of visiting this establishment, first time we have ever asked for a manager due to cold food arriving after 90 minutes - stuffed shells and chicken alfredo, meal was comped, but that doesn't make up for it. Water-downed drinks, over cooked appetizer, seriously, I don't know what happened and you can have a bad day, but won't be going back - took 30 minutes to get a water. And it was Valentine's Day weekend...

I’ve heard good things about this restaurant so we were quite disappointed with our experience here recently. The server did say something about new ownership so maybe that’s the difference. I’m sorry but we’ll not be dining here again.
