   If there was one place I wanted to dine before the governor shut down all restaurants, it’s Roost. The Heritage pork chop might be favorite meal in the state of Ohio. I am glad that I was able to eat here on the eve of Coronavirus shutting down all restaurants, and sad that I won’t get the experience anytime soon.

   I was surprised by the EXTREMELY over salted pasta, which was replaced. No properly manage kitchen should have allowed it to be served. But overall it was nice. Tempurature was on the chilly side next to the window, my mistake

   We had a table in the patio area which was very noisy. Food was great and service was good but a little slow. Will go again but ask for a table in a more quiet area.

   This place was great. Local chef who makes entrees that you don’t see everywhere else. Really appreciated the quality of food, and level of service. Our waitress was amazing, I forget her name but was one of the best servers we have ever had.

   Roost offers a very good menu and the food is delicious, but the ambiance is beyond poor. Why in the world would you force your diners into such a small room where the noise has no where to go- my friends and I had to shout to one another to carry on a conversation. My voice was hoarse by the end of the evening. And then there's the lighting issue- OMG! the room is so dark that you cannot read the menu- come on! We had to pull our phone flashlights out to see the menu- really? Put some lighting in the room so people can see your menu- isn't that your chief selling proposition as a restaurant? Don't you want your customer to see it? Roost- please make some much-needed changes to your restaurant asap! We so enjoy your food, but it is not a pleasurable dining experience to eat at your restaurant.

    Great dinner. Loved the menu. The risotto balls were great to start. Mushroom ravioli fantastic. Filet looked to be a winner.
