   Great food and service even short staffed. Manager was doing the cooking and one wait staff available. They did a great job! Food was hot and flavorful. Salads were fresh and taste. Server really worked at getting food out and being spot on. Bread is outstanding! Great job! Will be back!

   Our server Ross acted like we were bothering him for things when we asked for a napkin from him spilling a drink. He didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. Just wasn’t a friendly outgoing person

   Made reservation on Open Table. Was greeted with a smile and taken to our table quickly. Server was nice and professional.

   Food was better than Olive Garden, but not as good as a more authentic Italian restaurant. Decor is exactly the same as the last time I was in a Macaroni Grill about 20 yrs ago..probably need to modernize. Service was very good. Server was very nice and attentive and got everything correct and to us quickly. I will go back someday, but I wouldn't make a huge effort to eat her again...it's good, but nothing very exciting. I expected worse to be honest so I was pleasantly surprised.

   Service was outstanding and food was also great! Enjoyed getting a chance to see friends and not be pushed out the door like some restaurants. Great place for a lunch with super friendly service and food.

   The whole experience from the moment my family and I walked through the door was less than pleasurable. At 7p on a Saturday, we were informed they did not have anymore of their house red wine and when we asked for an alternative, the waiter indicated they were out of that as well. When we finally were able to place our dinner order we were told they were out of certain menu items including lasagna and capellini (an Italian restaurant out of lasagna at 7p on a Saturday night is not a good thing). We asked to speak with the manager and assistant manager multiple times but were told they were not available. When it was time to receive our bill we requested to speak with a manager again and were told manager would not speak to us. There was no apology at all for our experience and we were charged for the entire meal. Nothing offered to try to offset the miserable night. All my family and I wanted was to enjoy what was once a great restaurant and this experience will make it very difficult to ever go back.

   Server was sweet but inept. Could not remember anything. No balsamic on the table. Food was dreadful. We had starters of fried calamari and caprese. Calamari was greasy and limp, barely warm. Caprese sloppily presented with browning basil leaves. Entrees just as bad. My usual Shrimp Portofino was made with a thick stiff spaghetti instead of a delicate angel hair pasta which simply did not work with the dish , and my date wanted lasagna, which they were out of, and settled for spaghetti and meatballs. Honestly his sauce tasted like the kitchen has opened a can of unseasoned crushed tomatoes and dumped it on the pasta. As a last insult, I used the ladies room before leaving. The floor was covered in toilet paper and paper towels, literally covered. The toilet paper in the stall was not mounted in its holder and had fallen on the wet dirty floor. Disgusting.

    Although the restaurant was not crowded, we waited more than 1 hour before our order was taken. The food took another hour before being served. When asked, the waiter did not have any answers, only kept bringing us break, and no-one who worked at the restaurant seemed to know what was going on. Multiple other tables walked out without eating/paying. We asked to see the manager but she never came to the table - and she avoided us as we left! She appeared frazzled and unable to direct the staff to any tasks which might help. What was even worse, there was a large table (20 people) from a sports team who came 1 hour after we did but were served before us! This is the second time this has happened at Romano's Macaroni Grill and we will not be returning. Given the multiple other dining establishments in the same area, there are plenty of other choices! My guess...this restaurant will be out of business within the year.
