   The food was really good. However, the service could use some improvement. Our visit started with us arriving around 7 pm to find the restaurant half empty. After checking with the hostess, she indicated that there was a minimum of 55 minute wait. We felt bad for not having booked a reservation in advance but were also puzzled by the situation because the restaurant was seriously empty. We checked Open Table and there were many open reservations for as early as 7:15 pm so we booked a table. After letting the hostess know that we booked a reservation, she indicated that it didn’t matter and we still needed to wait 55 minutes. After another 25 minutes of waiting, we checked on our reservation and were told we needed to wait 55 minutes. That made no sense. We had already waited 25 minutes plus we had a reservation. The hostess got a little flustered and said she wouldn’t honor the reservation because it was booked after we got to the restaurant. Meanwhile, folks were walking in without reservations and getting seated right away. We asked to speak to a manager. The hostess shot back that it wouldn’t be possible because the restaurant was very busy that night and that we could leave if we were unhappy. Finally, after about 40 minutes, the manager emerged and apologized. She seated us in the bar area (not ideal with a kid). We ordered some drinks and food. After 20 minutes some bread was brought to the table. Although we were grateful for the bread, we soon realized we had no silverware and napkins. After another 25 minutes, the appetizer arrived along with our main courses but still no silverware. We were able to flag the manager who immediately called for silverware to be brought to us along the rest of the tables around us that were sans napkins and silverware as well. From that point on, we were left unattended with our drinks sitting empty. Our experience ended with us flagging some random server who brought us our bill. The food was decent, the service not so much.

   The bib and blue salad was nothing like it used to be. Just overall disappointed with the salad and the bread. Our server was very pleasant and kind

   The service was too slow and server need to reminded several times to get anything requested. It was all too slow to the number of tables occupied. It seemed like inexperienced staff with no interest. We had better experience at this place.

   My entree was very good. My wife's entree was kind of cold and she said it didn't taste as good as usual.

   We had a reservation, they set up our table and then didn't seat us, I had to go back up to the podium to ask if we could be seated. Our server was slow and had us do several of the things she should have done. We had to flag down another server to get our desserts delivered after waiting for them for almost 10 minutes. Food was good and wine special was fantastic.

   Our waiter was great once we got one. I think he took pity on us because we had been waiting at our for 25 minutes to be seen. We were told the waiter who was supposed to be our waiter was busy with a larger group. But all in all food was great and we will be back.

   The cuisine is exceptional. During Mother's Day weekend, the restaurant was predictably bustling, yet the staff worked diligently to accommodate all guests, and succeeded. The Italian pastas on offer are top-notch. While I adore pasta, I've transitioned to a low-carb diet. One suggestion I have is to include small non-carb options on the menu, which would be greatly appreciated by those on similar diets.

   Everything was wonderful for our birthday celebration. Our server Garrett W was OUTSTANDING!!!
