   The food was great and the service was good. Since the closure of my favorite location, it has been quite a while since I last visited Macaroni Grill. It was a wonderful memory reestablished.

   I had preplanned reservation, set for 1:15PM On Sunday for a party of six and a 15-year-old birthday girl. We walked through the doors at 1:10PM And we’re not seated on time, but actually 40 minutes late. The few workers that were there seemed confused, and non-helpful. The place was empty with only about four other families seated while we waited. My chicken marsala was bland, and almost tasteless. Sad because I used to eat at macaroni grill often with my kids and they had nothing but great memories. This time, not so much… something was not right with this place! I cannot lie and I cannot give a great review this time. mostly one star…

   We were seated 30 minutes after the reserved time. but the rest the food and the incredible attention.

   Lack of leadership is apparent— server poorly trained: -brought 2 plates first; 10 minutes later, the other 2 -served bread after the meal -never checked-in with us; we stood up once to get the servers attention -forgot the to-go box

   If the restaurant is going to choose to be open on Christmas Day, then they need to be well prepared. They should also only serve the patrons who come in the restaurant to eat, no curbside, no delivery. The curbside orders were getting prepared before the inside restaurant patrons were being made. We ate there for our Christmas dinner. The server really didn’t want to work today, but said she had no choice ( which is wrong). She did a okay job with the parties that she was serving. The kitchen was so slow and the restaurant wasn’t that full. I saw a lot of empty tables. It took over 3 hours for a dinner service. The food was cold and very bland and most of ii was not eaten. I would give the food a minus 10! We paid almost 300 dollars on this meal that wasn’t worth eating! We will never be back.

    We've eaten at Romano's Macaroni Grills for years. They were always good and fun. Back in the late 1980s the wait staff would sing in Itaian and spin napkins over there heads while doing so. This hasn't been done in years. One by one the Romano's locations have closed leaving only Mall of Ga location (As far as I know). At this location they relocated a new head shef from Orlando to elevate the overall quality. On our last visit I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Rafael whose leadership in the kitchen was obvious in the quality and flavors of the food they produced. Wow, a huge step up. When we complimented the Chef He was quick to give credit to his staff. I had the Salmon and my wife (She who must be obeyed) had the Pasta Milano, both were absolutely outstanding, as were the cocktails. Our server, Bianca, was a joy. She was prompt, helpful and a sheer delight. We couldn't be happier. Bravo!
