   The service was friendly (though not super quick). The food was tasty but not world changing.

   Great Food, Decent Service, Good Location. Loud music from the bar after 9pm spoilt the ambience of the restaurant. Either partition the restaurant better for later in the evening or don't have the music as loud, its not a club. That said, I would definitely recommend the food and service.

   Three of us ate but two didn't particularly enjoy their meals. One had eaten much nicer fish & chips in other restaurants and the other person thought her moussaka may have been microwaved. The cheese topping was so hard it was difficult to get her knife through it. My pizza was fine and I appreciated being able to order it from the bar menu although we were eating in the dining area, as I wanted the smaller size. One other point - when I went to the Ladies, I had to try 4 cubicles. One had no lock, one had a lock that didn't work and one had a very wonky seat. The hand drier didn't work & packets of paper towels were sat in between the sinks. I had only just come into the restaurant and I felt it didn't give a good impression. It looked a bit shabby. I have been here a few times before but not for a couple of years and felt overall it was not as good as in the past. Neither friend said they would visit again.

   Disappointed that the online menu was not available in the restaurant. Wider steak chonce was expected. Update your website!! Service and food however was great.

   Generally it was ok. The food was of a decent standard and the staff friendly but the restaurant was empty and the outside area was just dreary...rows of black tables and concrete slabs with a pile of rubbish in the corner. It needed lighting and plants. This was the first time we'd eaten here and it confirmed that Saltwater is still more of a late night bar with an outdoor smoking area than a restaurant.

   I am sad that I didn't ask the barmans name but did thank him sincerely for his help & advice. He made it a perfect start to our pre theatre meal & relaxation.

   Went for a bite before going to the cinema, bar food menu was good value, food was tasty & good service, although the waitress did seem to hover a lot, not sure if that was because we were the only group in the restaurant or she thought we would do a runner!

   We arrived at 7.30 and the place empty except for 2 other tables. The restaurant was freezing and both my girlfriend and I had to keep our jackets on. We asked if they could turn the heating up a bit but they said that it was on full and wouldn't warms up due to a door being opened! We ordered some olives and bread to start, this was just the beginning to a disappointing meal, they were old and tasted like they had been left in the fridge next to some meat. After this we had mussels and salt and pepper squid. These came suspiciously quickly. The mussels at best were on the cold side of warm. I believed I had ordered squid but infact i had ordered rubber bands. They were so hard and also cold! At this point we decided to leave, only paying for the bread and a glass of wine. This was such a disappointing meal and If you are thinking of going there then i would give it a miss!

   Overall we really enjoyed the experience, staff were very attentive and we were well served. The food didn't quite hit the mark, squid for starter, although the batter was delicious the squid itself was very tough and impossible to bite through. Other half really enjoyed the beetroot salad. He had a fish main which he was complimentary of where I had a pizza which seemed a little bland. We would visit again as everything else was spot on, perhaps the menu or ingredients need a little tweaking?

    Good food and service. Suitable for people with a range of allergies including gluten free and lactose intolerant. Great bar and outdoor area. Helpful staff.
