Robokyo Japanese Steakhouse is Westmoreland County's best Hibachi / Teppanyaki restaurant and an ultimate sushi destination. Robokyo was Voted #1 in 2014 for Best Sushi in Westmoreland County. Featuring only the finest and freshest Steaks and Seafood, prepared on downdraft smokeless Hibachi tables by highly skilled chefs that will amaze you with tricks and taste.  The chefs entertain you with fire, food, and fun in one of three Hibachi dining rooms designed to accommodate parties of any size, or enjoy some sushi in the lounge, at the indoor bar, or on the huge patio. During the summer months there is live local entertainment every weekend.

Robokyo is located in the historic Toll House Inn originally constructed in1790 as a stagecoach stop on the Old Lincoln Highway. In 2007 the exterior of the building was restored and the interior was transformed into Robokyo.

Robokyo can offer custom catering off-site for home and/or corporate events. We have a portable sushi bar and portable hibachi tables that can accommodate parties of any size. Robokyo Chefs can travel and provide delicious entertainment at your next special event.

We have three dining rooms that can provide private dining for 14 guests in the Earth Room, 44 guests in the Fire Room, and 66 guests in the Water Room. The 3,000 sq. ft. Patio Bar can comfortably seat 100 guests.

Daily drink specials begin at 4:00P.M.The Patio menu has been updated for the 2014 summer season including many American menu items in addition to the ROBOKYO appetizer and sushi favorites.ROBOKYO Hibachi is a fan favorite and eating it outside has been a challenge prior to 2014. Beginning this year, ROBOYKO has Steak, Chicken, Shrimp, Scallop, and Lobster Fried Rice, all served with Yum-Yum Sauce, on the patio menu.

First visit to Robokyo with a group of friends. Most of the group has never been to a Japanese Steakhouse before and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are already discussing coming back next week to take advantage of the weekday specials. Chris, our chef, was outstanding and had a wonderful evening because of him.

Went for valentine's day ,it was my first time there. The tables are small and leave very little room to be able to move sat extremely close to others. The sushi was delicious, unfortunately the hibachi was rather flavorless. I would go back for a regular table to eat sushi but wouldn't eat the hibachi again.

Our sushi was just okay. Server was very nice and professional. The first server who sat us seemed to be in a rush to take our order. We hadn’t even looked at the menu, let alone been offered the drink menu, and he asked to take our order. When we reserved we requested a nice table since we were celebrating a special occasion. We specifically said we were not having hibachi. The hostess escorted us to an hibachi table. We told her we’re weren’t having hibachi and she said “sit anywhere you want in the lounge/bar area.” She walked away without giving us the menus in her hand. Confusing. I hate going to restaurants during “off hours” because, more often than not, the service is “off” too. This really wasn’t the experience we were looking forward to having this afternoon. In addition, the hostess did not check us in on our Open Table reservation (which we specifically mentioned) and we had to get the email “tongue lashing” from OT about being a “no show”. Do a little research first before you waste my time. Look at my track record of “showing up” before you assume I didn’t show. Just a frustrating experience overall.

My Birthday party there was Fantastic! Loved every minute of our dining experience! Only thing I would change, is instead of having staff come over and sing happy birthday, bring out a GONG with a piece of cake with one candle!!
