   Phenomenal space and nicely curated menu. Went for my wife’s birthday and they were very friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend to anybody!

   Loved the restaurant, dining room was Fantastic. Food great, would of like a bigger portion, but I'm a big eater. Would go again for sure.

   This was our second time at Riviera because we had such a great experience the first time. The service was excellent as always, and the food and drinks were outstanding. The customer service was top-notch as well. I’ve decided that this is my favorite restaurant in Ottawa—they consistently deliver every time.

   Overall, it was a good experience, but the music was very loud, which made it difficult to have a conversation with the other party. Perhaps this was unavoidable, given the high ceiling and hence echoes. My comparison is Montreal, and so I found the food okay but not outstanding. The service was excellent--these guys have hired the right servers as the gentleman who served us was VERY efficient and did a great job. This was reflected in his tip. The restaurant seems caught between a nightclub and a restaurant as it is not a quiet venue to have a meal with a significant other unless you are shouting. I enjoy Bob Seager as well as other boomers but music could have a bit more varied.

    I can never say enough good things about this place—it’s hands down my favourite in all of Ottawa. The moment you step inside, you're transported somewhere else entirely. With its dramatic high ceilings, elegant lighting, and effortlessly polished ambiance, it feels like the Riviera dropped into the heart of the city. The food is always exquisite, the cocktails are crafted with care, and the service is flawless every single time. Whether you're here for a special evening or simply treating yourself, it somehow manages to feel both luxurious and inviting. A true gem.
