The Hotel had no record of our booking despite me confirming on Open Table the day before. When my friends arrived and asked for our table they were treated rudely & simply told there is no booking. We were eventually given another table but were kicked out after less than 2 hours as the table was booked. But what about my booking?!!! The entrees & main courses were all served together which was ridiculous. Overall a very poor experience

We came over from Collaroy on Sunday because we heard that the traditional Sunday roast was amazing. And it did not disappoint, it was fantastic! I was with an english family and trying to please them with a Yorkshire pudding may have been difficult - but they absolutely loved it! We also got to try a selection from their upcoming Spring menu and we ordered the Sydney Rock Oysters - YUMMO!! Sticky chicken wings - tick! Roast Dinner - big TICK! Oysters - double big TICK TICK! DOG FRIENDLY!!! KID FRIENDLY!! There was acoustic live music on from 3.30pm and we really loved that! Can't wait for Covid restrictions to ease so that we can all get up and have a bit of a dance! Thank you for having us! We will come from the north again! x

We just love this place, great little pub, friendly staff and really good food. We love chillin' here for a few hours on a weekend.

First time visiting - its a great looking pub and immediately we noticed the vibrant atmosphere downstairs. Upstairs was very quite (this was around 3pm on a Saturday). We re-located our reservation from upstairs to the main room and took advantage of the steak + a bottle of wine offer, for $50. Food was great and the service was good - highly recommended. We left just as it started to get a lot busier, and it looked like there was going to be a live band, which would've been great to have watched!

The food is absolutely sensational. The Sunday roast is the best in Sydney. The pizzas are fantastic also.

The noise was phenomenal. Even with Covid- related distancing. We were seated near a table of 4 men who shouted and swore continuously and made no attempt to consider anyone else. The stream of swearing was mind- boggling. I think the licenses should intervene in situations like this.
