   We were very happy with our meal at Riverdale K Grillhouse. They were very kind when I called and said we were going to be late for our reservation at 6PM. They said to me it wasn't a problem, and they would have a table waiting for us when we got there, and they did. Our service was great and we were very impressed all around. Thanks for a great meal!

   This is the second time that I have been to the restaurant, and while the food has been very good both times, the wait time on the food has been extremely long with nothing done to make up for it. I especially feel this way in light of the fact that on each occasion that my husband and I went, the crowd was relatively small. During last week's 4/19/17 visit, for example, there were only 4-5 occupied tables in the entire restaurant and yet my entree took about 45 minutes to come out. I also was not happy with the fact that I communicated twice before my 4/19/17 visit (including a phone call made to the restaurant several hours beforehand, requesting chocolate cake) that I wanted a surprise dessert (cake/candle) brought over for my husband's birthday. The waitstaff overlooked my request and never brought out the cake. I had to remind them right in front of my husband, which made things very awkward. Eventually they brought out a slice of strawberry mousse, cake, but of course, by then the surprise element was completely gone and the flavor was not what I had requested. Also, on our prior visit, the waitstaff never bothered to tell me that my appetizer (duck salad) would take over 40 minutes to prepare. Had I known that, I obviously would have made a different choice. When I voiced my discontent to the manager, he apologized, but did nothing to make up for it.

   Open table should make sure restaraunts are opened for business before letting someone make a reservation. Made a lunch reservation for my son's birthday. We wasted our time and money for mass transportation round trip for 5. To find out the restaraunt was closed. Thanks very much for a very disappointing Birthday experience for my son. These ratings are not against the restaraunt but against Open Table.

   My friend and I were at The K Grill for Thanksgiving. The food was so delicious. Everything was so good: the squash soup, the garden salad and the rib eye steak with mash potatoes!!!!! I would love to do this more often but I'll get bigger than I am. The food was sooooo good. Thank-you. Also the people working there were so nice to us.

   K Grill in Riverdale was the site of a special occasion dinner that definitely did not disappoint! The food was truly delicious and served with aplomb! Moreover, the birthday cake came on the House. Very nice and gratifying touch! All just had a happy time at Special K Grill! In fact, one of the guests in my party suggested we return to K Grill even when we don't have a special occasion -- let's just do it for fun more often!
