   I’m not really a Mexican food fan. But we decided to try something different. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious!!! It was authentic and perfectly seasoned. The service was stellar. We will be back!

   Food was amazing. Place was a little dark. Only complaint is the bar was when you walk in. It was loud and people would not move out of the way to walk to the table. You had to push your way through.

   Since it was on Valentine's day they had a limited menu. It would have been nice to know that when we were making the reservations. The service was good, although it took a while for the food to come out. The chips, salsa, and guac was a bit expensive, considering most Mexican restaurants serve the chips and salsa for free. We will probably try it again on a regular night to see if it was just the heavier than usual volume that slowed the kitchen down.

   We were in the West Palm Beach area for a family celebration and chose Rivales as the venue. We met with the manager, Elisa, ahead of the party to pre-select some of the food items and discuss details. She was extremely helpful and professional. She also made us feel very appreciated. When we arrived later that evening, everything was ready and set up as we had discussed. Our server, Michael, was great. He was efficient and professional. He remembered everyone’s orders perfectly. Everyone liked him very much. The food was delicious. The drinks were wonderful. It is truly a “craft bar.” Everything is made on premises and it is obvious. It is absolutely a neighborhood gem.

   Incredible dining experience! Definitely a new Wellington hot spot. Food and cocktails were amazing. Our waiter Michael was super attentive. Looking forward to returning many times this season!

   Our server, Stephanie, was helpful in choosing dishes and delightful throughout our meal. The starters were excellent. Meat and fish dishes were fresh, delicious and attractively plated. We’re coming back!

   Went for happy hour and enjoyed our Margarita Monday cocktails and a huge plate of delicious nachos. Michael, our server, was delightful and took great care of us. We will be back!

   Arrived to an empty restaurant and asked by 3 different people if we had reservations. We were a party of 5. Wait staff was polite and accommodating. Food arrived quickly. Did not taste the mango in the Margaritas, but they were low in cost. Appetizer was disappointing, no flavor in Guacamole, had to ask for salt. I order the Tostadas and got a chicken Tortas instead which was delicious! Another guest order Chimichangas and also loved it. Last 3 guests order Burrito Bowls which were somewhat small in portion and did not come with a lot of shrimp or carnitas, but very tasty. Finally, we order Churros which came with a side of caramel which was a hard ball and un-spreadable.

    Overpriced for mediocre food, and the service was severely lacking. I believe they just opened up, so maybe they are working through the kinks, but wouldn’t go back.
