   This is a two-part review: one for drinks, and one for food. Great date night spot, or meet up with friends and especially for people not from SF. If you are going for drinks, I definitely recommend RoR as they have a great selection, and their cocktails were really good. 4 out of 5 stars for drinks as I felt the prices were $2-3 overpriced, and the cocktails were a smidge light on the liquor. If you are thinking of going for the food, PASS. I give it a 2 out of 5 stars. - The tuna crudo was decent, but so very basic. - The hamachi crudo was close to inedible, and had a strong fishy smell with some tasteless, pasty white sauce. - The cous cous was interesting, but uneven in flavor profile and could have used some more creativity around it. Also very basic. - The fried chicken and biscuits were way overcooked and so dry. It looked like they were leftovers and re-cooked, and every table's looked that way. For a $240 dinner with drinks for two, I could have spent less and got way more at a number of joints around SF. But, the views—you are paying for them (and getting room-service grade food.) The outdoor area is really well done and stylish with quality furniture and fire pits and propane heaters throughout. High glass walls keep the wind to a minimum. Nice touch. Will go back for drinks and views, but not the food.

   The staff was welcoming and kind. Food was good! I got the bread pudding French toast - I loved their vanilla bean whipped cream (seemed house made) definitely shareable. My partner got the breakfast platter with bacon — the potatoes were so flavorful. The view and Garden were pretty :) Would go again!

   The space itself was extraordinary. The food was absolutely delicious. And the staff were so kind and attentive.

   I just wanted a light dinner so only ordered Tuna Tartare and a glass of wine. Nice ambience and excellent service. Not crowded at all, although am finding that to be the case in almost all SF restaurants lately. Also came back for breakfast next morning since I was staying at the hotel. Actually pretty good value. Again really excellent service and again pretty empty.

   My friend, her daughter-in-law and I enjoyed a lovely early lunch on a Saturday morning before we saw the musical Chicago at the Golden Gate Theatre. My friend had the Croque Madam and enjoyed it! Her daughter-in-law had the French toast, which was absolutely delicious. I had the fried chicken and biscuits - equally delicious. They did not overcook the chicken at all. We were very pleased with the atmosphere the service given to us by Tatiana, we had a view of the city. It was just an amazing experience. We will go back.
