We selected this restaurant because they did take a reservation. The Holiday week in Summit is packed and hard to find a table. We were seated right away. Nice round table for 5. Gucamole and queso dip were GREAT! Margs were good too....plenty strong . The server seemed good....but so busy we didn't see much of her. We were all pretty disappointed with the food. Wouldn't go back except for happy hour.

We visited the Rio Grande during the busiest time of the year for ski resort areas. We made a reservation to make sure we did not have to wait since we had a little one with us. We were seated promptly and we were waited on quickly. The wait for food and drinks was not unreasonable considering how busy they were. This was our second visit and we plan to return in the future.

We stopped by with family for dinner after a long day and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent. Our server Maddie took great care of us. If you heard marginal reviews in the beginning, and haven't yet tried this restaurant, you should reconsider. Their overall ratings are still suffering from the initial reviews. They locally source the beef, no hormones in the chicken, and they use non gmo corn. There are more great attributes to the list I am forgetting but, these things stand out. We enjoyed guacamole for appetizer, Chili Rellenos, Steak Tacos and Fajittas for entrees and sopapijas for desert. Overall great experience. This restaurant has come a long way since first opening.

our foursome enjoyed a very good mix of soft tacos (pork, shrimp, steak, chicken) and excellent margaritas with a side of guacamole thrown in. we sat outside and watched the sunset over the mountains. outstanding view. the service was very friendly and helpful with blake orchestrating the table side service. overall, we all agreed that we will be back again.

I am happy to report that our food was very good. When this restaurant first opened they received many poor reviews so, we waited some time to experience this one. We can vouch for the guacamole, chili rellenos and the fish tacos which did not disappoint. I had a coin margarita which was excellent and my husband had to try, by recommendation of a friend, the frozen one with the beer upside down in the glass. It is off season here but, in spite of this fact, there was a good crowd. The service was pretty good, still some room for improvement in this department. With the system they are using, a separate person delivered each of the dishes and a third person delivered the drinks. In spite of the fact that we kept the menus and expressed interest in ordering additional items, she did not return to us for some time. I believe with this kind of system, it is easy for the server to hand off the items to other members of the team and loose touch with the needs of the table.

Service and food were good. Prices a bit high but there was plenty of food. Good for families but would benefit from more soundproofing.

After 4 previously great meals, was sorely disappointed an this trip. Rice was under cooked and crunchy, seafood enchilada was overcooked and crunchy. Service was great though. Told server to tell manager that kitchen staff must be new and need more training.
