We have been to Rick's many times. This was not representative of the dining experiences we have had in the past. Service was very slow although there were only three tables occupied (we were there for almost two hours; dinner at Rick's has usually lasted about an hour). One item we ordered was no longer available, but we were not told immediately, and then my wife had to peruse the menu again for a replacement dish. The grilled calamari was rather rubbery, although the garlic sauce was good. the sesame-crusted tuna with wasabi was rare as I asked it to be and was tasty. The salmon my wife ordered was also good, but she ended up taking most of it home, since the bowl of clam chowder had been very large and filling. The vegetables were nicely al dente. We had brought a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc; it matched the flavors of the food well. The waitress seemed to be more interested in trading stories with the people at a nearby table than getting food to the diners. We'll go again, but another experience like this one will make us reconsider visits after that.

My husband and I love Ricks Seafood restaurant. The food is delicious, nice and quiet, you can BYOB if you like. Staff is so friendly and helpful with ordering. It has EVERYTHING we love when we go out to dinner

We had a family birthday celebration on a Friday night, with all ranges including a baby and 2 toddlers. Ambiance is basic, nothing to write home about, but everyone enjoyed their food and the server was friendly and engaging… We arrived at six and were the only ones in the restaurant for quite some time. A few other tables gathered shortly after. Overall was a great experience, we are glad to have a restaurant like this in our local neighborhood. We will be back again, for sure!
