   It’s very sad to see this charming restaurant go. I’ve been going there on and off for 30 years. The food is delicious, the staff helpful and the ambiance pretty and cosy.

   Three of us had dinner on the 25th September - and found out that the restaurant will permanently close on the 26th. According to their website they are moving to Soho. Talking to the employees, however, all of whom have been made redundant, they don’t even have premises secure anywhere. Pity, as the food and service were excellent. We started with cocktails - a comprehensive menu is available - Cosmo Bombs and Melon Boulevard. Onion soup and endive salads to start with, followed by duck breast, fillet steak frites and lamb loin. All of them just perfect. A very good wine list at very good prices.

   Went there for an afternoon tea and left the restaurant very unsatisfied with their service, the food was okay but fair because of the price. But their service was very poor.

   The new Richoux has much of the elegance and ambiance of the original place which closed. However many things are much improved - the food and service were both very good and it is an ideal place for coffee, lunch and tea in style.

   My family love everything about Richoux, especially the food and cruffins. A remarkable place to eat and those mini baguettes are out of bounds!! Thank you so much

   We were so pleased with our choice of venue for brunch, before seeing Moulin Rouge, given that we just went off an internet search. The ambience was amazing, we were given a booth and the food was incredible. Would highly recommend.

   I'd returned with family to Richoux after having a great experience with a friend earlier this year. Sadly this time I found the service was slow, sullen and perfunctory. We were in a booth near the bar and our drinks sat on the bar for nearly 10 minutes before they were brought over. We nearly went and helped ourselves. We waited quite a while to order, and then for food to arrive. Three of us had steak and whilst two were OK, mine was very fatty and I left quite a bit. No comment from the waitress when she collected the plates. With a mandatory service charge, (assuming it is passed on to the staff), I expect better service. Shame as I had recommended it to everyone. Don't think I'll be back.

    The waitress that had attended to our table provided a beyond magnificent service. She was extremely friendly, attentive and efficient. Her service went above and beyond our expectations. A true credit to the Richoux restaurant.
