   The host was not kind or helpful when we got there. We informed them our 4th person would be late and they said they had a 15min grace period but wasn’t sure what that was about. After we got seated and told our server we were waiting but would order some drinks (she was amazing) our guest got there around 8:20 and they claimed for safety reasons even though the kitchen was open until 10pm they could not let him in. So we could be there but if someone went up the elevator it was a safety problem so he could not join. After all this we had a bad bottle of wine and two thin slices of prosciutto for over $90 and left so we could eat with our friend. I’ve been here many times and love it but will most likely not be returning. I work in the industry and have never heard of something so dumb.

   Great ambiance and food! We ordered the lobster roll, burger, fries, and spritz- no notes.

   Jose is our favorite server, always recommends the best things to try out. Overall love that this restaurant has a great vibe and is really pretty inside which makes everything better. Food is always good too.

   We called to move our reservation back to a later time, and the staff was very accommodating. Prior to the later appointment, we called to see if another person could join our party. Again, they were very helpful and modified the reservation. Our server, Gia, was outstanding - very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items.

   Very nice place but seems overpriced. Ambiance and service are wonderful and food was decent but not any better than other surrounding restaurants in area. Charging for the name RH, not the dining experience. Brunch Portions/Mains are small.

   The tables are a bit close together; my neighbor could have eaten off my plate. Everything else was superb!

   I’ve been to RH Rooftop in Oak Brook several times before. I went there for brunch for the first time today. The overall experience and food was meh. I ordered the American breakfast with bacon and the two mini lobster rolls. This time the hostess was a bit unfriendly when I asked for a change in table. Though she did seat us elsewhere she seemed a bit put off by having to do so and made a snippy comment where I didn’t ask a question. Also, I asked for a latte thinking it was what I had in the past. It did not taste good and it didn’t look the same. So I thought maybe I had ordered a cappuccino and that tasted even worse than the latte. I found the picture of the drink that I had when I was there about 6 months ago in my photos since I sometimes like to take a picture of mymeal and it was in a bigger mug. It also had a great presentation with a heart shape in the middle and I showed the picture to the waiter and he said it was the latte he had brought. But again optics and taste were different. Lastly, because the tables are really close the waiter for the table next two hours every time she brought something to the table, her butt was facing our table right by our food. That was extremely offputting and should not have happened. The table distance was about 10 inches, or so.  I’m not sure if I will return.
