   Greeters are pretentious and unfriendly. Food took an hour to prepare.

   Overall a great experience. Beautiful restaurant and outdoor dining area as well. Food was delicious and the service was great. We sat outside which was lovely, only complaint was there was no light at the table so it was very dark throughout dinner.

   Wonderful! Will be coming back to enjoy again. Had the wagyu ribeye, truffle fries, half rotisserie chicken, and warm cookies for dessert.

   The wait was a bit longer than our reservation time, but once we were seated, everything started off well. However, when our food arrived, we didn’t receive any utensils or napkins and had to ask for them. When we requested napkins, we were told they only had small square ones. Later, when dessert was served, we had to ask again. We noticed the table next to us was given utensils with napkins right away, so my husband asked why we had to request them multiple times. The server explained that she thought we only wanted paper napkins, which didn’t make much sense. Typically, at any restaurant, utensils and napkins are provided as soon as you’re seated. Although she apologized, the experience overall was disappointing.

   We shared the fried artichoke appetizer…interesting but needs a different side sauce. The Smash Burger was very good. The French fries were good but not great, their truffle fries are a lot better. The service is spotty, it took awhile to get our entree and we must have had 5 different servers. It’s a beautiful restaurant, and has a cool vibe.

    The server was fantastic. The food was delicious. We were disappointed seeing guest wearing MAGA hats. How would RH Ocean Grill at Newport Beach respond to guest wearing BLM hats?
