   One of the very best restaurants in New Orleans. All of the dishes are delicious, creative, and beautifully presented. The only problem is trying to decide what to order since everything is equally tempting. Service is just as good as the food. And the dining rooms fit the food and the service.

   Our experience at August was outstanding! My daughter and I were celebrating Easter, early graduation, and time being together. It was within walking distance to our hotel on Poydras, and dishes were so unique. I especially loved the crawfish tarte, Red Snapper, and the August chocolate bar for dessert. Its not always easy finding a restaurant that checks off all the boxes for service, ambiance, quality of dishes, flavor, great location. Truly amazing!

   My friend and I had a spectacular evening here. The restaurant was very attentive to any specific requests we had. The food for the chef tasting menu was incredible. I highly recommend.

   We had another amazing and memorable meal here. This place is now on our must-do list anytime we come to New Orleans. The food is delicious, inventive, and sometimes even playful. You can feel their passion for what they're doing in every bite. The service is also top notch. I would be shocked if they're not included in the upcoming Michelin Guide.

    August came highly recommended to us by some local friends. We were able to change our reservations with ease on OpenTable so that we would have an opportunity to dine at August last night. It was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. The food was amazing and accommodated our food allergies. I had the duck, and my husband had the Wagyu steak; we had the orange cardamom sorbet for dessert. The meal was sprinkled with little surprises brought out by the staff, and we had more than enough to eat because the portions are perfectly sized. There were so many small things that showed how much attention to detail was put into this restaurant from real candles on the table and enjoying the flicker of a small flame of candlelight to the fresh flowers to the steam pressed tablecloths.  they’ve missed nothing to provide you a perfect dining experience. The staff was amazing, they go so far above and beyond to make sure that guests have a positive experience. The restrooms upstairs proffered the opportunity to see more of the 1800’s architecture and admire the wine collection. This restaurant gets it completely right! Not to be missed!
