   This was our third visit to Repeal 18th and our first on a week-night. While our first two visits were dominated by the weekend entertainment (The Dave Stevens Show) which was outstanding, this visit was quiet. As usual, we enjoyed original hand-crafted cocktails before dining. I opted for their signature seasonal smoked whiskey-based cocktail which was absolutely delicious. My wife selected another seasonal feature - a gin-based highball rendered Royals blue with Blue Curacao and topped with a semi-circle of lemon rind notched to look like a crown - a clever salute to our local basebal heroes. The menu was new and I understand a new chef is holding forth in the expanded, partially open kitchen. My wife opted for the gourmet hamburger matched up with freshly made fries - simple, classic and delicious. I chose the daily special which was a pairing of 3 perfectly seared ocean scallops and 3 look-alike gnocchi served on a lovely tomato-based coulis that added a great flavor contrast to the entree. A glass fo Macon Lugny Les Charmes chardonnay from the short but carefully selected wine list completed the experience. Our server Alex remembered us from previous visits and she was on top of everything from start to finish. Repeal 18th offers a great combination of a neighborhood bar/restaurant casual atmosphere and top-drawer food and over-the-top cocktails.

   Go for the drinks! The food is definitely secondary. But the drinks are fantastic.

   good service, food expensive but mediocre; no vegetarian choices, menu limited. pomme frites awesome

   Minimal menu choices but really good food. Nice atmosphere and great outdoor space.

   As noted in other reviews, they are understaffed so service was slow (but good). Small plates quite good. Fabulous beet/citrus salad. Fun cocktail menu. Limited beer menu. Nice ambience. Will be an excellent outdoor place once it warms up.

   3/ 24:17 our server was exceptional. Food is very good, The ambience is good for a group of two or four. However the drunkenness and noise level spoils that ambience. It's unfortunate that people flock to the bar area and stand around drinking and loud Profanity and laughter etc and push into the surrounding tables of those who are there for an evening of casual dining in a cozy atmosphere.

   Great drinks. Octopus was wonderful. Eggplant flat bread needed something to make it perfect.

    The corned beef was tough. They were out of Bombay Sapphire, the key lime breading pudding was runny, too green and tasted like it had Parmesan cheese in it. Couldn’t eat it. The French fries were very good.
