   The food is absolutely amazing. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the food is clearly a reflection of the ambition and style of cuisine that comes from Marcus Samuelsson. Would also highly recommend doing some research before going; learning about the mindset and experience of chef Samuelsson made the food and atmosphere that much more incredible to see, taste, and feel.

   Overall, the aesthetic and the vibes were nice. The bar was gorgeous. The music was live but overall, I think this is just a place to come and grab a drink and maybe an appetizer I was disappointed with the menu as I felt like there should’ve been more options and then I ordered the steak fritz. They cut my steak and triangles so my steak was cut in correctly. My waiter forgot to bring out my wine. I waited almost a half an hour for wine. They agreed to seat us early, but then they sat us in an area that had our backs towards the entertainment, and clearly the area was for larger parties. We were only a party of two ,so we had to be moved when we first got seated. It just overall was just I was expecting more and it wasn’t what I expected especially for the prices on the menu.

   Great singing. A little expensive to have food at room temperature. No soft drinks included with the expensive price.

   Great experience as always. Happy to celebrate my birthday there & the staff was fantastic & the food was awesome. The Kentucky Derby exhibit was informative & necessary. Great evening.

   My first time here since the extensive renovations took place. It's bigger and accommodates a stage where good jazz is featured nightly. Last night was no exception...an excellent quintet led by Kevin Oliver Jr. I'd come back to hear him even if there were no food. But the food was delicious...our entrees were lobster roll, catfish, and honey fried chicken. Great sides...collards, fries, black-eyed peas...all good. Our server, Jade, was efficient and delightful. I hope to go back here very soon!

   Fantastic! We only wish we lived closer so we could go regularly. Yardbird, cornbread, asparagus, Salmon, farmer’s remix salad and lil apple pie were all delicious, beautifully prepared and presented!!

    Honestly this was the best thing we did on our trip to NYC. So special!!! The food was absolutely incredible, my husband and I are from Scotland and were looking forward to trying things like grits and chicken and waffles etc and we were not disappointed! Sing Harlem were absolutely magical, I had goosebumps through their entire performance. I really don’t have the words to describe how special it was. The whole experience was completely unforgettable, thank you thank you thank you!!! Xx
