   We were quietly surprised to see how nicely the restaurant was fitted out as we had never been there before. It is certainly above your usual Pub setting. The food and service was superb.

   We had such a wonderful family dinner together! The food was amazing and lovely service too with relaxing ambience.

   We had a delicious meal..all the food was lovely..and so was our waiter..Walker? The only thing that spoiled it was he kept coming back to our table to"check everything was ok" and every time that happened it interrupted the flow of the conversation . I would estimate he visited our table about 12 times in 1.25 hours when 5-6 times should have been plenty. He was lovely ..but way too intrusive and despite being 30 mins early for our booking and pthe restaurant not being full we were pushed to get our mains a litte early despite asking for a break. From memory this happened the first time we dined here too....different waiter ...if it happens on a third visit I won't come back as I was getting really irritated.

   We expected more being a restaurant designed by Manu & putting his name to it, the food was very average. Entrees were the best, the muscles & scallops. I wouldn’t rush back.

   Very nice setting with the restaurant decor very well presented and thematically consistent to present a stylish yet contemporary old world charm. Approach to experience is poor, we were a little late but were reminded dedicated before we even took a step that bookings are strictly tly 2 hours only and the table would be needed. 20 minute's in and we had not seen a waiter, had to go and ask for water and drinks. We only had a main. It was presentable and edible, definitely not pub food, but nothing to write home about. We went because a friend of my wife told us it was amazing . . . Booked it for a birthday celebration dinner for my wife. It was a pleasant evening together on the verandah.

   We went for the Sunday mussels special and it was amazing. Of course we couldn’t help but order other dishes. Salmon, snails and dessert. Everything amazing.

   We were made to feel wonderful by the delightful FOH, then Manu, slinging dishes out front and later talking with every table said hello and personalized his welcome. He has established a culture of High service ethic and the people are fabulous. Before we saw a wine list or menu, we were made to feel like we really wanted to be there (balcony evening). Product really very good. Mushroom risotto, butter lettuce starter. Food and Bev very reasonably priced. Clever, fun, caring and recommended. You will return having been once.

   French food but Aussie portions, and casual excellent service. Great value for money - nothing overpriced including drinks. Our second visit and we will back again and again !

   Really excellent late lunch! Not one thing was a disappointment on the menu. Pate, gravlax & leek salad. Can we talk about the baguette with the individually wrapped French butter? Best duck confit with lentils ever 😋 Staff were so welcoming. We would highly recommend it

    Good value small menu but all the items were very tasty. Great to see Manu there really enjoyed our night would go again
