Ambience was great, service was good, food was ok...went for my birthday and couldn’t wait to have the Miso glazed Chilean sea bass. It came out plain, no seasoning at all, and with none of the accompaniments listed on the menu. I was asked what side I wanted but on the menu it didn’t suggest I was to get an extra side. It wasn’t bad but I was disappointed. The ambience was great, low light and quiet. Server was ok but slow, especially considering we were one of a handful of tables there. I would consider going back for a second try in hopes it’d be right.

The first impression was not good. The hostess was on the phone for an inordinate amount of time while several parties were waiting to be seated. She should have asked the phone person to hold and dealt with those right in front of her. Instead she rolled her eyes based on her conversation and never once interrupted her conversation to say she’d be right with us. If I owned the restaurant, she would be canned! That said, the food, price points and waitress were all fine. Delicious white fish and shrimp scampi were our entrees and cole slaw and rolls are always good.

Real Seafood has become my favorite place to dine. Mostly because I love seafood. Love the varied menu of great dishes. Attentive staff, great value especially to celebrate our birthdays. We look forward to visiting again during the holidays.

Wonderful atmosphere, great view of the Toledo skyline, and the food is top-notch. Hands down the best crab cakes I have ever had. Service was superb. This place will not disappoint!
