   Friendly staff and great food. Not just the superb choice of steaks but also the scallops and pork belly we all had for the 1st course and the Eton Mess we somehow managed to find room for as well. Staff were very friendly and attentive and, because we were using Tastecards to get their 241 offer it was also great value. Would definitely go again but would need to wait for a special occasion as they will not be doing Tastecard for much longer and at full price it would then be around £150 for 4 people including a beer each and a tip.

   Really enjoyed the food here are Rare Cow. These guys have only been here since Sept '15 but already have their menus absolutely sorted. Excellent steaks cooked to perfection, and good sides and entrees too. One of our party had the scallops and the lobster thermidor (entree and main respectively) and was absolutely thrilled. We were here in winter but with its premises on the banks of the river, Rare Cow will be awesome in the summer. Our only reservations were the music choice (the beat-driven dance music didn't suit the venue) and the decor could be done better. I can see what they're trying to do with the cow hide patterns on the walls, but I don't think it works. Over all, this is a meal not to be missed if you're in or near Suffolk.
