   We were rebooked at Amorano following the fire at Raphael and these comments relate to Amorano. However both are equally good and we highly recommend them. Different food cultures but equally good.

   Lovely, cosy place. Very attentive staff. Food excellent, I had pork fillet stuffed with sage and black pudding and my partner had the venison - both dishes were superb. Definitely recommend and will visit again when we return to Bath.

   We had a pre-theatre meal, it was excellent. The service was prompt and the staff very obliging. The food was well presented and had good flavours. The menu choice was limited as you would expect on a pre-theatre menu but there was good range of options. It was nice to see that the wine by the glass was priced similar to the price of a bottle allowing us to choose our wines individually without a big cost penalty. I would not hesitate to recommend.

   Whenever I visit Bath, this is my restaurant of choice. The food is always delicious and the set Lunch Menu is great value at £14.00 for 2 courses. The staff are warm and friendly and ultra efficient but without being over-zealous in their attention( I don't like too much fussing). Despite being the last ones in the restaurant following Saturday lunch, the staff did not pressure us to leave, so their patience was most appreciated. Space is quite limited but there is always a great atmosphere and somehow proximity of other guests does not seem to be an issue. I have used the restaurant for pre-theatre meals and again they have always been highly accommodating.

   Very popular restaurant, so without booking we couldn't have enjoyed the lunch on s Saturday. A la carte menu seems a little expensive for the quality. But set menu is great value.

   We ate here for my Girlfriends birthday and had a really tasty meal. Food service was good and prompt and there was a reasonable wine selection. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The price point was very good given the quality of the food. Girlfriend loved her chosen dishes so that's a big thumbs up from me.

   Super French food and a really excellent (short, but well chosen) wine list with some of the least painful markups I have seen in the UK.

   Very attentive waiter and waiteress for our evening - we came back for an anniversary meal to this restaurant as it was where we had our first date - and were not disappointed. Had duck and fillet steak for mains - Camembert for starter and the house wines red and white. All lovely!! We'll be back :)

    The ambiance in Raphael's was warm and very welcoming . The staff were knowledgeable about their menu and wines and were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you The food was superb and was not rushed between courses. The only reason we couldn't eat all of our meal was because we were so full! We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Bath and we will be returning!
