   Presentation, Quality and value for money was first class. Went on a Sunday so it was a relaxed and personal ambience. Staff on point and professional. Food, well what can I say. Very, very tasty.

   The food was outstanding! The presentation was fantastic and very creative, food was well seasoned and attention to detail was 5*!! Hidden gem for an amazing dining experience!

   The food was very very good, hands down the best roast ive had, cooked outside of my house.. But, they dont have enough staff to manage the capacity level. Mind you, I’ve only been on a Sunday. When we arrived was served very quickly, but from that point on it wasn’t good at all, drinks took long to come out, then of course you can tell the food is being made from fresh; which is great, so that took a while understandable, but, no bread?? Nothing. then when we got our desserts was left to sit and watch it melt as the table was cleaned and no new cutlery given. Easy mistake to make. All that being said the staff were lovely, problem was quickly rectified. The company on a whole is not the problem, just in need of more staff i think.

   I came to visit after seeing a review on TikTok and was hesitant as a lot of tiktokers lie but for once THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The food was sensational, there is not a single fault I have, the rice and peas, jerk chicken, vegetables, lamb - all seasoned to perfection. The rum punch was flavourful and the portion sizes were great value for money. I’m going to argue this is one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in London in a very long time. A MUST VISIT - 10/10 - no notes

   Stumbled on this gem by chance and was very pleased with the food/ drinks. My friend and I had jerk wings and ackee croquettes to start and the sea bass main. Absolutely outstanding and would return 100% Sorrel and rum punch were also delicious!

   My experience at Rap Char was exciting. On entering the restaurant the smell of food being cooked was exciting for us and we just couldn't wait to see what was awaiting us on the menu. We were shown to our seats by a very pleasant young lady. We were given the menus and immediately went through the delicious sounding items. While we did that of course we had to have cocktails! I had the sorrel cocktail and it was great. My colleagues had other cocktails and they too were impressed. My main was oxtail with rice and gungo peas but by the time I had finished my starter, which was ackee and plantain croquettes - wow absolutely spot on! I was so full I had to ask for a 'doggy bag' to take my dinner home. To my disappointment I wasn't able to have the dessert. I was very impressed with the this restaurant and we will be returning very soon to take up where we left off. My only gripe is that the restaurant is very small and we were almost sitting in each others lap but overall the food and ambience of the place may you immediately forgot. We all had a great foodie experience and will definitely be returning.

   Lovely food and very nice presentation. Meat tender and my dish was just right. Only negative I would say table way too small. Unable To but my bag and phone anyway so had to place on another empty chair if your a big person or guy may be a problem. Bit too close to other members of public but again it's because the venue is little small. But very hard to change due to the size of place. Did call up in the week to confirm booking and say can a cake be provided with a candle as its for my friends birthday. But unfortunately never provided and didn't feel comfortable asking again. Plus was in my special request when made the booking online. I travelled from hounslow and would come back but not for a while. Thanks again just few attention to details required. 😋

    The quality taste and presentation of the food was great. The feedback would be the coleslaw is a little too small and it’s a shame they do not allow set menu for less than 8 diners. Also, the music selection played through the meal was top notch but the speaker sound quality was not great as they clear had popped and were crackling. Invest in some better speakers please. I later approached them about booking for 17 diners …it took forever for them to rely, the response back was quite disappointing. At first they said that I needed to give them £300 which would not be deducted off the final. When I challenge this they then proposed a minimum spend of £1500 had to pay £750 upfront they then proposed given them and before the date of us attending had to repay the remaining £750. With that amount of diners it was clear the set menu was what we would have to have which is £55 per head that equates to £935. This meant that they were trying to which felt like a bit of a hustle to extort an extra £565. If I question the £300 fee which was not going to come off the final bill, I just didn’t understand why they thought this other option was any better. I emailed the restaurant twice questioning them about the amount of money they were asking for, but they have not had the decency to respond. I subsequently saw a review video of another diner that had 11 people in her group and it was so apparent that this restaurant is not in the position to cater to large groups at all. They couldn’t cope with 11 then they definitely would not be able to cope with 17. Really quite disappointed as the food was really good.
