   We dined as a family of 4 at Ramen-San last night. It was a mistake to say the least…we had a reservation, but ended up seated by the door at a communal table. We had to rotate seats so not one person from our group would have to endure the wind being let in for too long. EXPAND YOUR HOST STAND AREA SO PEOPLE DONT HOLD THE DOOR OPEN AND LET IN ALL THE WIND. Next, a party of 6 was seated at our table and they were on our laps and yelling for the remainder of our meal. The host aknowledged that it wasnt appropriate to put 6 maniacs at our table and took a few things off our bill. But i’d rather have a good experience than some bill adjustments. Would not recommend, unless you like eating and shivering with strangers basically sitting in your lap. Wasn’t planning to write this review, but the restaurant didnt like my rating and asked me for details lol.

   Visited Ramen-San in Chicago while in town for a work conference, and it did not disappoint! The ramen was incredible—rich, flavorful, and they offer special ramen of the month options, which is such a fun touch. The crab Rangoons were hands-down the best I’ve ever had, and every drink we ordered was spot-on. So glad we made a reservation because even on a Wednesday night, the place was packed! We wrapped up the night with sake bombs—always a fun way to end the evening. Only regret? Not saving room for dessert. Definitely trying those next time!

   Really great service from our server (didn’t get his name, maybe Yvan? but he was really helpful with the menu and gave great recommendations!) and our food was good overall! I would definitely come back to try their selection of Japanese Whiskys — that’s super intriguing!

   Ramen-San is one of our favorite places in Chicago. The ramen is always solid and full of flavor. Love the lively atmosphere and great service!

   Great experience as always! Tried the crab Rangoon for the first time—-outstanding! Got one of our staples, the sticky Thai wings, and then two bowls of Ramen (add fried garlic). Also, the Chinese broccoli side is really good… we get it each time.

    Fun, but noisy atmosphere. Service excellent and food very good. Like that they had a featured ramen. Think others may be our favorite but would still return here without hesitation.
