   Friends in Westchester had told me that Rafele Rye is a stand-out, but...WOW. When you live in NYC, you get spoiled by all the fine restaurants, but Rafele Rye rivals the best places in Manhattan. First, the space itself is lovely: open and airy, with enough distance among the tables for you to hear the diners at your table and see people at the other tables. There's energy, but not too much noise. The staff is welcoming as you enter and solicitous as you order and dine. Most importantly, the food strikes what I consider to be the perfect balance: creative, so it excites exacting foodies, without being precious. A friend ordered the Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sage Brown Butter and after a few of us tasted hers, we ordered an additional dish of it for the rest of it to have, along with our own entrees. The Meatballs, which I ordered, were the best I've eaten in my life, and the Arrancini (rice and cheese balls) were ambrosia. The wine options were impressive and the waiter was helpful when we asked for recommendations vis-a-vis wines that would go well with our food orders. I'm planning another outing to Rafele Rye in three weeks, this time with a different group of friends. This is one restaurant I don't have the heart to keep a secret.

   Out to dinner with friends. The food was authentic Italian, yet creative too. I really enjoyed the shaved artichoke salad and branzino and the cheesecake was out of this world. Worth every calorie.

   Great Food!   Great Service!   Great Atmosphere! Amanda our  server was fantastic, and Raphael the Chef  Owner was very  receptive to gluten free options.

   This is a real gem in a small town that has great selections and quality dishes. The service is spot on and the tiramisu was the heat I had since Italy.

   What a lovely restaurant. I don't remember what was there before but they did a gorgeous renovation. My friend recommended Rafele to me. She did say that the service wasn't great, especially when crowded. When we arrived it was early and pretty empty but by the time we left it was getting more crowded and I could see what she was saying about the service. They are very nice but I think they need to pay more attention to each table. Both of our salads were way over dressed. Everything else was good. We didn't order any pasta/pizza which looked very good! We will give it another whirl soon and see what we think.

   Although food was excellent, I was disappointed in the service. Seems to only cater to people who look upscale. Not much attention was made to my dinner partner and I. Had to ask for several things. Another drink, bread, and cheese for my pasta. The chef/owner (I think) was speaking to a table next to us for a quite a while. Being a new restaurant he should of went around to each table and ask how everything is. Bartender was very pleasant and attentive.

    We love everything about the restaurant. Rafaele Ronca, the owner, puts his heart and soul into maintaining quality food, staff and service. We highly recommend this hot spot for casual and special occasions.
