   Staff were not very polite when dealing with a complaint. Food offered was only set menu, al a carte not offered but should have been made aware at time of booking. Waited 45 minutes for dessert - we chose the cheese board so not sure if they were waiting for the milk to curdle. In those 45 minutes we were not asked if we wanted a drink.

   Very disappointing experience. We ate mid afternoon prior to a theatre visit. The restaurant was being tidied up after lunch which did not add to the lack of ambience; it was like being at McDonald's. We were the only diners (4) Yet the food was late, cold, poorly presented and badly prepared. £200 for a lack lustre performance ...Gor to thensure Judged Hare instead!

   We went with the Winter Set Menu which was excellent! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, the place was almost empty but filled up a little later. Good background music but not too loud - good for conversation.

   Very nice food , however waiter didn’t give me a choice to add the service charge and put it in the card machine without asking

   Having seen the reviews we as a business group book a table. The service was extremely slow, even though we were the only people in there. It felt from the off the staff wanted to go home. We didn't get ask about drinks until the starters arrived. The food was very good and some of us even skipped the starter to have dessert. Only to find at the end of the main course it wasn't offered and to be honest given the time taken to get our starter and mains 2hrs.....we couldn't risk the waste of time. They then charged us £42 service charge which took an age to get removed. Honestly, far too many restaurants and cafes, which are cheaper and equal in food to put up with such service.

   Dreadful, wrong wine served, incorrect food served, confused staff with little/no knowledge of the menus (for example we asked twice if the fish was filleted and we were told it was - it wasn't). Incorrect bill. Highly disappointing. This used to be a good restaurant, really gone down hill. Farringdon has an excellent selection of restaurants and sadly this is no longer one of them.

   Food was great, service was laughable. They had not heard of the Open table deal we selected, and said it expired at the end of August when we were dining on August 4th! The funniest moment was when our waiter struggled to open a bottle of wine. He was using his hands and saying something was wrong. We informed hime that he both needed to remove the seal and get a corkscrew. Someone else opened the wine The food was excellent, but I would advise some immediate staff training is required.

    Good food, relax environment. Friendly staff. We tried some appetizers and 200g fillet steak. Great and tasty
