   We have visited Quince three time in the past and this was intended to be nice relaxed evening with decent food. We had noted, in the past, that this was a surprisingly nice restaurant with good food, nice ambiance, attentive and well dressed staff and reasonable prices. We were surprised that the restaurant seems to have degraded in a number of ways but maintained some aspects we like. The bad: 1. The restaurant was dominated by large tables of very noisy guests. 2. Service was very slow and not very attentive. Table was left with used utensils for some time and the food took a long time to come. We had to summon a waiter to get attention to order desserts refill water, order wine etc. 3. Our fresh oysters were ruined by the addition of herbs and spices directly on the oysters and not as a side dish which would be normal. My wife commented that the taste of the oysters was ruined. 4. Staff dress codes seems to have deteriorated. In the past they have been relaxed but tidy and neat. Staff seemed dressed down in a mixture of baggy jeans and rumpled tea shirts. 5. This is quite an expensive restaurant costing $250 including tip for two people. I think the $$ rating is a little optimistic. We did not order a bottle of wine but had it by the glass as my wife only like as single glass of wine with her meal. The good: 1. The wait staff were pleasant and respectful even if slow to respond. 2. My Chilean sea bass was excellent, if over priced. My wife's seared ahi tuna salad was a little overwhelmed by the large amount of Kale, but was well prepared. 3. Dessert (blackberry cobbler) was excellent with light pastry and excellent fruit content. 4. Good selection of wines. 5. Good location although we had booked well in advance we did not get a prime location on the outside floor (we were sat next to the DJ). Overall a slightly disappointing evening from a restaurant we had liked and recommended in the past. I would only recommend now with some reservations.

   Overall service was amazing and we had the most serene view! Everyone was so kind and made the experience lovely. Angelina provided the best service and we felt very well taken care of. The atmosphere was calm initially then became electric. I had a great time and will definitely be back soon. Thank you!

   Food was good. There was a DJ when we were there and it was a little too loud for me personally. All around good vibes tho!

   Food was delicious, everyone at the table loved the shrimp appetizer. We did have a slight issue with service but the manager quickly addressed it. Overall would highly recommend. Beautiful views, quality food and cocktails. Loved the ambience and decor.

   Best food and a great ambiance. Service was a bit slow but it was a holiday. It was just fine to be at the table outside sipping a drink. We will be back.

   Our server was very sweet. Having a 9 table section limits the quality of service that can be given but she did great for a busy Easter Day! Kitchen didn’t bring out the fruit side ordered until after we had finished our meals. Again, they were packed so it’s understandable. The French toast was incredible. The fruit reduction under the toast mixed with the flavor of the syrup was the perfect duo. I was floored. Thank you!

   I reserved my table well in advance of the date and confirmed via various texts and emails. And we got there, and our table was not ready. It also didn't have a lake view, and the food served was incorrect. If you know you're going to have a large crowd, plan ahead and find extra help.

    We came here a year ago for our rehearsal dinner. It was amazing. The vibe was classy, staff was friendly and attentive. 10 out of 10. My husband and I came back for our first anniversary and do not have the same experience. It felt more like a bar scene than an upscale dining experience but with the high prices. There was a lot of yelling around us and loud music. It was also a little odd that we had booked a table on the lower patio with a “lake view” but the seating was different than before. It was just the two of us so obviously we sat at a table for two, but the tables were arranged in a way that one person had a lake view and the other had a view of the bright tv playing crime documentaries. If we’re booking a table for two with a lake view, I would have been nice to be seated with our sides to the lake so we could both have a view easily. We felt like an afterthought for our server. We were excited to try several things because everything we tasted last year was so good so we decided to order a few items and share them. We ordered and let our server know we would be sharing. When the meals were dropped off we were not given extra plates and the meals were not items that would have been easy to eat off of the other’s plate so we ended up having to sit there with the food in the middle of the table for the better part of 10 minutes before we could get some plates to divide the meals up between the two of us. There was a sauce that came one one of the dishes and when we divided our meals the sauce wasn't easy to get off the plate so we left the plate in between us and were dipping our bites in the sauce as we ate. Multiple other servers came by and kept trying to pick the plate up off our table as they passed. Our server came by and picked up the plate and took it. It overall was a let down. We probably will not be returning, unfortunately.
