   This was our first trip to this restaurant and trying Ethiopian food. When the waitress took our order we let her know it was our first time and she helped us choose a combo plate that would work for us with fish for me since I do not eat meat and everything non-spicy. When they brought the platter she announced that they were out of fish so they substituted lamb. We were shocked that they would change the food we ordered without asking and she was shocked that we were unhappy with it! We asked for the tofu and vegetable dish to sub for the fish which they did bring reasonably quickly. In the meantime remember, this is our first time. Food was dropped on the table with no explanation on how to eat it correctly (no utensils or plates provided and no one came by to check on us). We guessed that we should use the injera as tortillas but after we finished saw another table pulling small pieces off of it to pinch up the food we felt a little dumb. The food was tasty, although the tofu with vegetables were a little too spicy for me even though it was good. My husband said the chicken tibbs was also a little too spicy for him. We are both wimps when it comes to spice though. The Gomen (spinach and collard greens) was delicious! In spite of the problems I would be willing to go back to try again to try some different dishes especially since they have gotten so many rave reviews.

   The food was good, not outstanding but different. The Ethiopian beer is terrible, avoid. Service was very slow, 45 minute wait. They are also completely unaware of Open Table and were not able to verify my dinner reservation or the fact I ate there.

   The food here was really good. But, from the minute we walked in and weren't aknowledged, to having to ask several times to have our server sent over....eh...the good food wasn't worth the bad service. The house honey wine tasted like honey and a packet of bread yeast mixed together, it was truly awful. Too bad we didn't have a better experience. It's not often that you can so easily find good vegan food on a menu.

   We would have loved to dine again at Queen Sheba but our open table reservation was not sent to Queen Sheba by Open Table. It was Valentine's Day night, and when we walked in at our reserved time, the restaurant was packed. Every seat taken. A huddle of maybe 10 other couples were cramped in the space by the front door, all of whom had made reservations for apparently the same time as us, 7 PM, on Valentine's Day, and none of which could be seated because Open Table never sent the reservations to Queen Sheba. All of this trouble seemed to fall upon the shoulders of Open Table. As a result, we did not dine Queen Sheba (and I'm not about to give this wonderful restaurant a poor review because Open Table messed up) and instead went a few doors down to the Thai Restaurant. The moral is do not rely on Open Table to send a reservation to the restaurant. You might need to call the restaurant yourself to make sure you have a reservation.
