   I had a wonderful evening of good food and great service. My only criticism would be the lack of enforcement for dress code. Perfect example the table next to me they were all dressed as if going to a sporting event. Two of the three for baseball caps, the whole meal and nothing was said. I feel for the amount of money paid for a lovely evening of fine dining Dress code should be enforced.

   Quality meats has been our favorite steakhouse in NYC for over 15 years. Tonight there were aspects of our dining experience that resembled previous visits, but unfortunately tonight’s dinner was not of character for the restaurant we love. The 5 of us were put at a small table which was tight so we lifted the extension even though service never offered to. The filet ordered medium was more on the well side and the porterhouse lacked the high quality bites you expect from a premium cut. We ordered two sides of corn crème brûlée bc we love it so much but they were both way overcooked and burnt. The manager replaced one and took one off the bill without us even asking. Further, the men’s bathroom was gross. I quietly advised the manager and they did address it immediately. Service still excellent there however the food / dining experience was not up to par as we always previously enjoyed. For the size of the bill, we should not leave so disappointed in the “quality meats”.

   I dined at Quality Meats on Saturday 4/19/25 and it was by far the best Steakhouse I have been to. I have dined at a lot of them and QM's topped them all. From the front door, bar, service, food and value. We ate the Steak tartare and bacon for appetizers. We ordered the filet mignon & ribeye as entrees with the Brussel sprouts & corn creme Brulee that was amazing.

   Came highly recommended, and did not disappoint. The decor ir industrial, and quite unexpected in that part of town. The side dishes (creamed spinach, gnocchi, truffle fries) and desserts alone are reason enough to go!

   what an unassuming name for what a treat this dinning experience was. recommend to anyone looking for a secret spot near the park. would def visit again.

   My family and I had a very good experience as we celebrated a birthday last night. I just happened to mention the birthday to the maitre'd and without prompting a hand written birthday card shows up on the table and later a special dessert appears. Wonderful attention to detail. Also, three of us were lactose intolerant and our server and the chef never skipped a beat. We got recommendations and a few alterations to our meals that were most welcome. To top it off the steaks and seafood were first-rate, the sides were delicious as were the desserts. Our drinks (whether wine or whiskey) were brought quickly whenever asked for and our water glasses were always kept full. Our server was extremely friendly and engaging (and funny), all without hovering. He answered all our questions, made excellent recommendations and our steaks came out exactly the way we requested. This was as close to a perfect restaurant experience as one could expect on a typical Wednesday evening. We'll be back soon!
