   Perfect date night vibes. Very nice staff and not too noisy. Will definitely be returning!

   Overall disappointing, especially after bill presented 50% more than budgeted! Attracted by candlelit dark ambiance passing by on street, looked like wine bars I frequented in late 70s and early 80s. Service was welcoming, so started well. But wine bars used to major on quality (and often novelty) and presentation of wines, and accompanying cheese. The wines (we tried glasses of 4 different ones) were all below average supermarket quality sadly. We ordered starters, mains and desserts, as we were hoping to find a regular haunt. These were also below average pub fare, with exception of mackerel pate and a delicious affogato with amaretto…. The bill was the final straw. Style was not matched by substance on this occasion. The injection of quality talent in the kitchen and wine front might fix this…pity, as the ambiance is good. I dare say affluent East Putney can sustain these prices, but will expect something more refined and special on the wine and food front…

   Loved it! Beautiful setting, great variety of interesting, reasonably priced wines, delicious food and warm service. We’ll be back!!

   Service and wine were good and it was a nice enough place for a date, however the cheese was served cold straight from the fridge so was rock hard and we had to wait for ages for it to get to room temperature - not that great when you’re pretty hungry!

   One of my favourite bars in Putney! Would be perfect for a date or to catch up with friends. Lovely staff and really nice ambience.

   A bit expensive. But very good wine and food. We ate cheese and tapas. We had a nice time in a quiet atmosphere.

   I like the Putney Wine Bar specifically for the ambience. It’s very relaxed, friendly and elegant. Love the range of wines which are all very good value - it’s so refreshing to have an extensive selection of wines which are under the £30 a bottle mark. Would highly recommend and actively do to all my friends!

    Really like it here - food is excellent and the menu seems to change regularly which means it always offers an interesting choice. Service was excellent, everyone really friendly and a good atmosphere.
