   Noisy!!!! Waiter could not hear us when ordering. Could not hear our dinning guests. Drink prices ridiculous . A bad martini $18.00 , a glass of blended wine $17.00 a drink of some CC substitute $29.00. Do not go . It is a total rip off. Food was not that good. This was our second visit. Will not go again. Dinner for two , one appetizer , one dessert and for drinks with tip---- $207.00. DO NOT GO

   Appetizers and salad were good. We ordered the funny bird, which on the menu was described as stuffed chicken. When our meal came it was just a piece of chicken. When we inquired about why it was different from what was listed we were told that they we expiramenting, and our waitress confirmed with the kitchen that there was no stuffing. No further action was taken. The staff was kind and the venue was beautiful. Overall though, we left disappointed based on what happed with our meal.

   Purveyor is the best place right now in Huntsville, period. Excellent intriguing menu, fantastic service and a fair value. Wine list could use a little more variety but prices are reasonable.

   Waiter was excellent. Cocktail was goodbit pricey...Airline chicken was devine, so was the shrimp/scallop pasta. Great bread. Brussels Sprouts were also great, as was the corn side dish. The lobster corn dogs were just ok...meh. Portions are ample, you could even share. Ambiance: cool decor, but it was too dark. I like a softly lit place, but this was almost absurd. Too dark to see menu unless you held it to the tiny light. One thing that bothered us a bit that I will share it so maybe the owners can explain to the hostess...when we came in at 5:00, there was only one table, ONE occupied. He place was empty..which is to be expected so early. The young lady didn’t greet us with a smile but said “do you have reservations?” We did actually, but that is a silly questions to ask from the start. She should have said certainly we will seat you, then “let me know if you had reservations so I can mark then off.” Being cool and dismissive doesn’t make your place seem special or exclusive, it makes it feel silly and pretentious. they just need better training. Owners should go eat in Bham at OvenBird or Highlands or many others to see how it’s done. Too many servers milling around a few feet from out table chatting and looking at our food, since no other diners yet. Overall a very nice dinner. We enjoyed it. Will definitely come again, maybe to sit at the bar and split some shareables. Happy to see a new place in town..with an interesting menu. I wish them well!

    Very good sport for the foodie in you. Selection was good size. Salads, main dishes and desserts were delicious.
