   OBSESSED!! Whoever thinks that Italian food can't be vegan, better think again! Plant based, nutritious, cruelty-free. What on earth could be better? Amazing wine and OH SO REASONABLY priced. This place is the best thing to happen to LA and the food is made with so much love. I don't care what your diet preferences are. :-) Go and enjoy and you can thank me later.

   Outstanding food, very good service. The black magic lasagna and fettuccini alfredo were both excellent. We also enjoyed the grilled citrus tofu and baked ricotta on ciabatta. The bloody mary had the right spice level. We topped off the meal with chocolate fudge cake with a tangy raspberry coulis and a candle for my wife's birthday. Well done. We'll be coming back.    It was a beautiful place they made room for an extra person politely. The food is all amazing, the service is beautiful lovely humans. Drinks are nice as well. I would go here all the time if I could afford it.

    Pura Vita is a near-miraculous experience, a vegan restaurant that has literally everything: great atmosphere, great service, good bar, nice decor, good neighborhood, and absolutely scrumptious food! I was fortunate to go 3 times this month, and each time had an amazing experience. The fact that the food is vegan and organic is a wonderful bonus to the fact that every bite is absolutely delicious! I've had the pasta carbonara and the pasta pomodoro with the polpettine, the truffle lasagne and the caesar salad, all of which were just so tasty that my mouth is watering as I write. Their fudge cake is so densely rich and chocolaty and fudgy and frostingy that I wish it were in front of me right now, and their peanut butter cup is so much better than Reese's could ever dream of being, that it's like comparing McDonald's with Spago. One of the times I went, I was with a party of 6, and when the bill was paid in cash, the server returned to us to tell us that we had overpaid because the service charge was already added to the bill, which they do for parties of 6 or more. We were impressed, because obviously had the server just pocketed the cash, we would never have been any the wiser, but he didn't and definitely gets kudos for honesty. I highly recommend Pura Vita, and although I am vegetarian myself, the people I went with for the most part are not, yet every single one of them have told me what a great experience it was, how mouthwateringly good the food was, and how they cannot wait to go back. Needless to say, I too am counting the days! Hmmm....I have plans this week with Karen and Molly, I'll suggest this right away!
